Burberry , 04 Jul 2025Why does the phone not have a radio? It's depends on what region you are this phone is garbage and this is why it has no radio in the A15 you would get the radio easily but I hate Samsung for not giving the radio in the Galaxy A16 4G same goes to the 5G variant

I am facing this issue i... moreFriend, you are expecting much from this phone...running videos smootly at 1440p res is not realy easy for a low end phone. It is weaker than my own s20fe which is like 5 years old :)
You should try 1080p, should be easier to run smoothly. Plus, check your internet connection. 1440p eats up alot of bandwidth which can make some kind of lag.
Also, i recommend killing some of the background tasks if you still want to run videos at 1440p, it might help.

No good camera — same as the A15. I'm telling you, the A15 is better. It has the same chipset and camera, no OIS. They should have at least made the price lower. No headphone jack, bad and cheap design — what has Samsung done? Also, the display is a notch design like the A06 and A10 series. It only offers 25W charging, while other companies making low-budget smartphones already give chargers in the box and even headphone jacks. Chinese Brands like Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi have better cameras and offer 80W or 90W fast charging.
It's shameful that Samsung only offers 45W fast charging. In my opinion, Xiaomi is better than Samsung because Samsung is starting to copy Apple’s worst ideas. It’s not right for companies to remove basic things from budget phones. Even worse, in flagship phones, they don’t give headphone jacks or chargers at all, which is just greedy. And Apple makes their own ports — so no charger is even more ridiculous.
In my opinion, the Xiaomi Redmi 14C is better than this garbage A16. It has better cameras and better battery life. Samsung Galaxy phones in the A and S series only have mono speakers. They suck — only the S10 Plus was good. The Note series like Galaxy Note 9 was great. Buy the A25 instead. Tecno and Infinix also stand out for including chargers and even wireless charging in the box.
Even small companies in Pakistan like VGO TEL give you wired headphones, a headphone jack, and the same Helio G99 chipset — and still cheaper than the A16. Honestly, the A16 should have had a Dimensity 5G chipset or Snapdragon 695 or 685 with OIS. I already know the A17 is probably going to be garbage too.

I bought this phone a couple months ago, here's what I have experienced so far:-
1. The UI is laggy, not smooth experience, just brand name honestly, the animations in the updated OneUI7 feels very laggy.
2. The camera is very poor and unstable, shakes alot and doesn't captures decent pictures.
3. Software is not good as well, apps stop working suddenly, and major thing is that fingerprint sensor has stopped responding even after restarting, its not working anymore.
4. The charging speed and battery performance is good.
5. The resistance to splash and water does work nicely, i have used this phone under shower.
6. The design of this phone's body is good and grabs attention because many people think that its S23 cuz apparently every samsung phone looks the same regardless of the price point.
Thats it, am very unsatisfied with this phone, I have been using chinese branded phones ljke infinix and realme and i never really faced such software issues in them like fingerprint sensor or what, so i am very disappointed in this device and would suggest others to not buy this at all.

Front camera distorts the image.Other phones with similar price have better display.It only has a good brand name and good software support.

Very good phone for its price
good camera but zooming 5x or more gets blurry
very good helio g99 processor 60fps pubg
and has face unlock!

I can not express how much I hate this phone.
I got it as a replacement for a 5-year-old S10e that actually fell apart, my thinking that it should be a reasonable match after ao much time. Moore's law, etc!
I was so wrong. Buy a 5-year-old phone! Do not buy this. This is an insult to customers.

That camera is to click documents. No other purpose whatsoever. and for documents too, u need 2 seconds and steady hand with flash on; so it can be readable.

I guess this phone is how Samsung tells poor people: eat that... I have only 34 apps. I bought this phone just for bare min to make business phone calls cause it went down to a $100 total on at&t. The word Slow doesn't begin to describe it. Terrible. My S25U has 600 apps and it flies!!

Just did an antutu benchmark after updating the phone to one ui 7, score i got was 415,000 which is pretty okay. My variant is the 8gb ram, 256gb space

I purchased this phone last week. I observed that back camera results are very poor. Picture doesn't seems natural. I also updated to Android 15 with ui 7 but didn't find any improvement in camera results.
On the other hand front camera is reasonable
Can someone guide me how to adjust the settings to get good results thanks
