Yo, this Samsung A14 5G ain’t nothin’ but a certified hood flop, straight bustin’ like a busted radiator in the dead of summer. Lag so bad it stutter more than a snitch on the stand—open one app and this junk freeze up like it caught the Holy Ghost. Screen faded like old Jordans, colors muddy as ditch water, 90Hz my ass, it drop to 60 quicker than a fiend dodgin’ the cops. Camera? Hot garbage, 50MP sound cute ‘til you see pics lookin’ like they shot through a dirty Popeyes window. Battery? Lie, 5,000mAh but die by noon, phone get hotter than a trap house stove cookin’ work. My A01 with 2GB and a dusty SD card was outrunnin’ this overpriced plastic brick—Samsung done fumbled the bag and spit in my face with this weak sauce. Zero stars, I’d rather rock a burner flip from 2008 than this straight-up disrespect. #A14Trash #A01King #SamsungCanSuckIt

This phone is garbage. When you have a lot of apps open and when you type, your typing does not type anything or is delayed! Probably a screen issue or what? Im using battery saver maybe that affects screen responsiveness while typing on keyboard? Still garbage phone.

radark, 02 Aug 2025theres no point of getting a17 .. no changes from a14.. same chipsetAnd that itself may affect me from buying Samsung phones in the future, even after my experience with this device (A14 5G). The Exynos 1330 chipset itself can't maintain stability because it can make the device gets hot, even at times with general use. Playing certain games on it, the performance decrease gradually with time. Thank goodness i don't own this device, i give it to my mother. Whilst i purchased a Motorola Edge 40 Neo phone that's giving me more of a bang in performance.

The s20 fe is hard to scroll. While scrolling it will suddenly open links. Same with this a14 5g. Then it is also hard to type. There is a delay or pressing the keys sometimes aint registered. To fix you have to press the on/off button to refresh the screen. The a14 5g power button fingerprint scanner is also unreliable since one ui 8. Sometimes you need to wake the screen and place your finger on the power button for the screen to unlock. No suck issue with my m12 or older on7.

This phone is actually better than I originally expected,I got mines refurbished off Amazon and it's been good to me,even has android 15 and OneUi7 :) the only downside is the meh processor

An aunt and a friend of mine who have A14 5G are getting by without major issues. Thankfully, they have the Exynos 1330 iteration with 6 and 8 GB RAM. The Exynos 1330 iteration seems to actually do better than the Dimensity 700 iteration in everything except battery life: better signal reception, faster day-to-day operation and multi-tasking, and seemingly no heating issues. Battery life is more than good enough, even if not excellent.
The display is also surprisingly good. Gets quite bright in manual mode, no eye-strain or migraines due to PWM, more than good enough for the average user.
The 4 GB RAM versions regardless of SOC, and the Dimensity 700 versions regardless of RAM amount - well, they suck. Samsung should never have even bothered with the 4 GB RAM versions on this one to begin with. The same goes for its two successors.

This phone is okay except this processor. It's junk! MediaTek and Exynos processors both suck balls. I've never bought (a cheap, dime store prepaid phone at Walmart) a phone that has these processors that actually delivered acceptable performance. This phone is so bad at managing data that it frequently crashes when scrolling down a news feed. Expect the "aw, snap!" error to occur on a daily basis. Clearing the cash does no good with these cheap processors, you'll still get the error. Movement stutters and page delays occur non-stop. This phone just does not like anything above Nokia level performance! If you're like me--a tightwad who spends $50 prepaid at Wal Mart for his cellphone needs, then you'll look over the phone's multitude of processor hiccups and junkiness. If you're paying anything over that, however, I feel sorry for you....
