my mom has this phone and its slow af, even though it has a good camera, the phone performance is mediocre at best, its better to buy the A14 5G or even an old flagship.

This phone is absolute trash. The battery sucks and it heats up quickly. At least it doesn't reach 70 Celsius like the a12, well, hopefully. It's performance is absolute dookie. Only a hippy would by it. If u don't have the budget, buy another cheap phone, but from another brand. Samsung phones are always and will be trash. Only their high end ones are somewhere good.

Melle, 07 May 2024It says that it only goes to one ui 5.1 and android 13 while I'm on one ui 6 and android 14Yup. Can confirm. My dad has an A13, and I upgraded to Android 14 and OneUI 6 for him. Strangely enough, the battery life has somehow improved on Android 14, while other people are saying the opposite has happened on other Galaxy devices. There is a little bit more sluggishness in overall performance though, compared to before.

if you have the 4gb ram model dont upgrade to android 14! its really much worse than android 13 and theres no going back becasue samsung also updated the bootloader so odin wont let you downgrade if you regret it.

Msabb , 22 Feb 2024Also the brightness issue seems to have been fixed. One UI 6.0 is the best thing to happen ... moreSame for me, not laggy at all but I have the 6GB variant. Always beat to turn the phone off, turn it back on and update necessary apps. The phone works very well and it's good to see a budget phone gets this updates.
