RAM helps to keep more apps stay open at same time and also helps to keep more tabs stay open inside a browser.
On other side SOC helps to load apps, games, web pages faster.
So, users need to think about their usage pattern first, then buy something that can fullfill their need.

I'm yet to see any reviews or proof of existence for the 8GB RAM variant of this model, and all A series devices below the A3x devices only feature a 32bit OS, just to make them obsolete before how long it should actually exist in use.
Possibly the largest variant of this phone is 4/64 with a free 64GB MicroSD card for selected regions, especially Latin America

so why are they using so much ram on such a weak processor if that is totally pointless? just like Samsung Galaxy A13 6gb ram variant. it's useless too because that phone is 32 bit (but has an arm64 supported cpu) and doesn't support more than 4gb ram

And the A03 was noticably the most value-for-money low end device ever made under the Samsung brand since 2015, despite lacking both a fingerprint sensor and proximity sensor.
At least, LG became free from Wingtech's monopoly of the ever laggy P35s

8gb ram is pointless if equipped with weak processor. even helio p60 runs much faster than p35. why manufacturers use p35 more than p60?
Why are there so many variants OMG
Like, just imagine the performance difference between the 3GB and 8GB RAM variants. At the end, they're the same phone. I know performance does not completely depend on RAM but there will still be so much difference between them. A bit too much.

I'm using this phone right now, and I don't have any complains about this, it's actually doing well. I don't know why a lot of you have bad experiences like lagging, for me it doesn't

Itun, 14 Sep 2023Ofc, It's literally like, the definition of "entry level", ofc people aren'... moreI feel hatred , perhaps even disgust towards people on tight budget as well as not very tech savvy , who may not be aware of S9 and prefer to have a warranty for their shiny new devices that are OK with very basic feature set.
Phone calls , Text messaging maybe e-mails and PDF are all many people need .
So called dumb phones are still made , did you know that?
Starting at approximately 20-25 Euro prices .
1.5" screens without touch function, few(if any) Megabytes RAM at best , useless camera , a VERY limited phonebook ,amount of phone calls and SMS to be saved and physical buttons .
Well I suppose there are such phones with bigger screens and more advanced feature set , but they are coming dangerously close to A04 when it comes to a price .
Compared to most if not all of those , the A04 is the equivalent of S23 Edge Ultra or whatever ,
Ofc, It's literally like, the definition of "entry level", ofc people aren't going to use this for much and ofc not many people are going to buy it, you'd much rather buy the A14 or A13. Maybe, yes, it might be good for people on a tight budget with not many things to do, but I don't think that is usually the case, you could get a much better used phone, like the aforementioned S9, for less than you can get these even, not to mention my phone, an A13, could be found for 70-140 USD, while I got it from my carrier for 300, never again am I getting a phone from my carrier. Still, I would rather Samsung dumb down the A0 series rather than make it, in my eyes, almost identical to the A1 series, the A04s is almost exactly like my A13, and I don't like that. Last time I checked my carrier's website, I saw this exact phone for 200 or so USD, I could get a S21 for less than that if I really looked, so, double the RAM, up to double the storage, better cameras, better processing, if you're a minimalist, this might be a pick for you, but I strongly advise otherwise. Taking the A04 means that you are ok with not getting in my eyes, your money's worth in full, in my eyes, purchasing a device from a carrier is accepting defeat, but that is my opinion, and an exaggerated one at that, I don't want to seem like I'm shoving my opinion in your faces, but I think this is stuff everyone tech and not tech savvy, carriers, in my eyes, should stick to only providing internet, leave it to refurbishes and the phone companies themselves to make and sell their devices.
