Thanks for the review. Have been waiting a long time for this. Have my heart set on this device. I visit your site at least 10 times a day and read almost everything on it since the past 2 years.
A small issue I'd like to bring to your notice: The quality of your videos - user interface, etc seems to have gone down. The person running through the device does not seem to have any purpose. He keeps swiping even after there are no further screens left; key areas are not covered like calender, functionality of other apps (in this case people app); etc. I understand that you'd like to keep it concise and really appreciate that but do try and cover key apps and avoid unnecessary swipes/key presses that make it seem as if the user has no clue of what to do and is just creating the video for the heck of it.

I'm on my Nexus right now. I'm happy with it. I haven"t really had issues with battery life because I ration it out. Camera is fine for quick snaps and if I want better pics I use my SLR. Some apps don't work but most of the popular ones do. It's weird... I was playing Angry Birds on the plabe and when we were descending it came up with a bird holding a phone with an arrow pounting at earth... is theresome function that knows you're flying?

The back is made from grippy plastic (intrigu... moreoh my god...are you serious??? did you even see the video where they drop a SGS2 and an iphone 4s? the SGS2 had no scratches whatsoever! and you call that cheap plastic? I own a SGS2 and an ipad, although the feel of the ipad is nice, but the SGS2 has been dropped several times from my hand while using it and it is still like new! before judging what type of build quality it has, shut up and try holding the phone, otherwise you will just look like an oblivious idiot who wants to sound like he actually knows something!

everybody was saying the audio wasn't good no where near iphone and i was scared but now gsmarena have cleared that thanx by the way i cannot regret gettin it when it finally comes out.
i remember people were saying bout the gs2 had bad audio but i bought it and i think it has one of the best audio experiences in a phone.
i dont know maybe theres something wrong with my ears :P

The build quality of the Galaxy Nexus is superb. The back is made from grippy plastic (intriguingly called Hyper Skin), while the display has gotten the oleophobic treatment. Both features leave absolutely no room for fingerprints. While many might frown over the lack of any metal in the device’s construction, we do believe that the weight benefit from this step is well worth it. ....THE BUILT QUALITI IS SUPERB???????????????????????????? HOW MUTCH IS SAMSUNG PAYING YOU NOT TO TELL THE TRUTH???? THAT IT IS CHEAM PLASTICCCCCCC THAT COSTS HEM ALMOST NOTHING..AND IN RETURN THEY ASK FOR A LOT OF MONEY ON THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JERKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The same thing was said about the nexus s, that it runs outdated hardware and that it s weaker than the competition, and it still is a hell of a phone, even with the ICS update.

Phone specs keep getting better these day, so as the screens they keep getting bigger. HOwever, why do they keep forgetting to add a camera shutter/button with all that space, width, length and bulk. HOW HARD IS IT? Enlighten me, pls?!

I have a Galaxy Nexus GSM version in hand. And I can definitly say that it has MHL capabilities. I watched several videos on my tv. I use the original Samsung MHL-adapter.
