Zobi, 19 Mar 2009I think is best Blackberry. If I walk into T-Mobile store you sure I gonna walk out with it.I think that with the new touch screen blbreaerciks like the 9900 there will be more light shining on blbreaerciks. I love mine. I work for a mobile company and have tried all of the smart phones. I've had the touchscreen which are great but suck ass at battery life.Androids are great don't get me wrong but there primary focus is not communication it's entertainment. Androids are toys and blbreaerciks are phones. Battery life alone, blbreaerciks can hold out like 2 days without a charge. An android you better be prepared to carry a cable in your bag.
I'm using blackberry curve 8900...it works very well...but one thing I noticed is that the aluminum color that surrounds the phone starts to fade and begins to produce bubbles...what can we do so we may prevent this unlikely appearance...can someone tell me please...

I'de like to buy Blackberry 8900 but i keep asking some phone shops if i can use WiFi or local internet providers in any open range without Blackberry Account or Data Plan. Some say yes some say no. Whom do i need to believe? I'm a person who always browsing internet wherever i go using my Nokia E71 without registering to any service provider. I hope BB8900 has the same function as Nokia E71 in terms of WiFi. I need help before i buy this BB8900.
I have had this phone around 13 months now and this is easily the second best blackberry behind 9500 bold obv. if yu are js afta a blackberry this is defo ryt buh if yu r a proper business man then go for 9500 bold
i have purchased a blackberry 8520... but i m little bit by the some silly mistakes in the software...where is mark all function,...
mark all function is not included in the 8520... or i cant find that function.. it is so boring to send msg one by one selection...sorry to blackberry upgradation of software must be required... to satisfy the customer requirement other than that satisfy by the performance of bb
Kujtim, 19 Oct 2009First of all it is very stupid from blackberry to ask for a data plan even when your trying to... moreYou only need to register through BIS once. After that you can use instant messaging apps like facebook etc. using the wifi. I'm on prepaid and registered only once the rest I use wifi.
I have this phone and it works great. I tried the internet with the E71 and with this phone (both were brand new when I tested and there was nothing in the memory) and the blackberry curve 8900 was a clear winner. The E71 was on 3G and the blackberry curve still won. The E71 has a very slow processor and the internet in the blackberry curve is better. I really love this phone. Now the cons: The trackball is black and in my opinion I like the clear one because that you can change the colors. Like what the review stated the phonebook needs refreshing. I was hoping for a phonebook that shows the picture after the name. I was also hoping to see 2 phonebooks one for business and one for personal use. I would also like to see boxes when I want to add a recipient because its so hard when you add a recipient then you have to click the blackberry button and scroll down or type "a" to add a new recipient.
First of all it is very stupid from blackberry to ask for a data plan even when your trying to check your hotmail, gmail, or other emails through wi-fi. (I HAVE WIFI, HENCE, I SHOULD NOT NEED A DATA SERVICE PLAN) you can do this with Iphone, Nokia, etc. I am trying to check my email and no chance it does not work. I do not live in a country where a data service plan from blackberry would work. so what are the options? yep curve 8900 is great, looks good, fast, etc. however whats the use if I can not even check my email. I will probably buy an iphone or Nokia. Blackberry by trying to make more money your are actually loosing it.
