A good testing for when these erasers get compared again in the future (if possible) is compare how they are when it comes to live concerts. Say taking picture of bands and removing people video recording the show from the pictures.

Guess what? Object removal was even in my Galaxy Note10 and it wasnt even labeled as AI and requires no internet connection!
I swear these AI shenanigans are just loads of corporate talk most of the time. Make the battery and software more efficient. Make the phone run less hot in demanding tasks. Make the phones slimmer or whatever.
There are many rooms for improvement and they chose making fake images out of nothing.

Its crazy how people willfully give up their personal information without knowing where it will end up. Sadly it seems that being privacy conscious has become passe and few care about it.
It would have been so helpful if the article had delved into this issue in terms of what device has the best on-device functionality and what are the terms (and possible consequences) of using cloud AI.
And if you say "I have nothing to hide", you haven't grasped the meaning of privacy. To put it simply, Its why we have doors in our bathrooms. To keep personal matters private.
