I tried the Magic7 Pro's periscope camera in a store. At 6x, you do get more detail than at 3x. And at 12x, you again seem to get more true detail than at 6x. Though, there is also a lot of fake detail at 12x. I compared it with my Pixel 7 Pro (which was at 15x and in Night Sight mode) and the Pixel 7 Pro was definitely better, far less artificial.

MIxa, 24 Feb 2025I am interested in why they are not allowed to film in 8K@24fps or 30. my poco f2 pro has 8K@2... morebrother using 8k for daily driving videos is DAMN crazy. You know that like, 70% gross estimate of the population doesn’t even have 4K monitors. People don’t even watch videos in 4K unless they’re dirty rich and can afford a 100+ inch to in their living room. You don’t NEED 8k.

I am interested in why they are not allowed to film in 8K@24fps or 30. my poco f2 pro has 8K@24 and this monster with the lastest Qualcomm Soc can't do it. i know we don't use 8K daily but is future-proof.

The battery for Europeans is a letdown and the pricing makes me wondering if this would be worth getting. The design is average as well when compare d to the Magic6 Pro
Sure we get a Harman Kardon Luna BT speaker bungled with the phone but i'd rather take a charger and a case with the 1300€ phone.

Mine magic 7 pro completed full 20 runs of wildlife stress test with 66% stability at room temperature. There might have been some issue with the tested device.

Had my Magic7 Pro for around a week, 5270mAh 12GB RAM, 512GB ROM. EU 🇪🇺 MODELS comes with a smaller battery 🔋 and less ram than North American models.
All in I would recommend Honor devices, great range and the hardware is top on the 7pro.
I used a 5pro until I chipped the glass.
An excellent excuse to buy 7 Pro, I'm not disappointed along with the tricks and tips on 5 & 6pro.
Iam thrilled with my Magic7 Pro tbh it's a weapon of a phone...!

I will not get the Honor Magic 7 Pro with the small battery in the UK/EU. I will keep my Magic 5 Pro one more year until the Magic 8 Pro.. Smaller battery than on lasts years Honor Magic 6 Pro, No thank you

jiyen235, 20 Jan 2025it seems to me that the phone in that article is the Magic7 and NOT the Magic7 Pro.George Zhao resigned as Honor's CEO last week, prompting further changes at the smartphone company's executive level. A recent report disclosed that the Global Marketing Chief, the Chief Marketing Officer for China, and the Sales leader for China have all left the company.
Obviously something went wrong with the global release of the Honor Magic 7 Pro with the smaller battery and CEO and others are paying the price
