I didn't actually want to buy this, but I broke my only phone. so only this phone fit my budget and my needs. I get it for rm850 ($200) from shopee.
I actually surprised the phone quality and feel at this price point. I got the silver colour it look good in person and not very appealing like the black/yellow one. I liked the curved screen, camera design wasn't good but kind of refreshing design. also this phone is surprisingly lightweight.
malaysia is always raining unexpectedly so ip68 is a plus. ir blaster is a most for poco phone lol.
battery performance below average for the battery capacity.
camera is not bad actually (I actually want to pick his twin the redmi note 14 pro with better camera but a bit over my budget and doesn't have a good color option). I improved the camera shot by installing stable version of gcam by Shamim on gcam hub website.
and yeah this phone still didn't get 2.0 hyperos yet
and uh.. that's it as a casual user this is more that enough for me.

Spencer, 11 Jan 2025high battery consumption in new xiaomi phones with (Li-ion) is due to screen high resolution a... moreWrong. The excessive battery consumption is due to missing audio jack. The usb-c audio consumes way too much battery.
I've been saying this all along but the noobies and Bluetooth fanboys keep attacking me for requesting audio jack.
And hyperos has too much e-trashware inside.
Try older xiaomi phone with MIUI firmware and audio jack and you will see the difference in battery performance with your own eyes.

C8 material assuming on hbm numbers?According to some Chinese bloggers the Turbo 4 is using mixed suppliers CSOT (which is TCL) and Tianma (It's common for Xiaomi to use these two as mixed suppliers on their midrangers). However, Xiaomi themselves don't seem to have this info available on their Chinese webpage so I can't be sure if it's accurate or not. Also, it's possible that the global variant could just choose a single supplier from these two even if the Chinese variant uses dual suppliers
