xslvrxslwt, 24 Jul 2024No lmao, I favorited it for some other reason. I'm using Oppo Find X7 Ultra/OP12.Ok, i had X7 Ultra as well, and currently i have the x100 ultra. X7 Ultra had more natural photo processing than 100 ultra, until recently(last days) i got a new FW on vivo, which includes color and exposition fixes, and thus the processing or even more better and natural, and let not exclude the macro capabilities and more superior tele.
vivo ig seems more fun and versatile to use, tho i never would say, that x7u is trash etc

So we had Xiaomi Mix -Fold4 beating the Samsung Z fold6 hardware & design in every major way, better cameras, battery, charging, wider useable front screen.
Vivo similarly, lighter despite having a 5700MAH, thinner, faster charging.
All the majors are the same kicking the Sh#t out of Z fold 6 in nearly all aspects except for.... IP48 dust resistance & the Samsung software & global release is their only saving grace!
Every othe major Foldables will kick Z Fold6 to the bottom, very sad to see from being the pioneering first Foldable to the last position, after all manufacturers upgrade their model 2024-25.
Next to continue to kick Samsung to the bottom will be Pixel Fold, then Honor Magic V3 global release and finally Oneplus Open2.
Did anyone at Samsung ever read the story of the Hare and Tortoise race, while Samsung was being complacent for the last 3 years the competitors had caught up and overtaken them while they slept or sitting on their laurels lol.
Each and every other foldable upgrading their chipset to SD Gen3 or 4 will have even better hardware specs than Z Fold6!
Z Fold 6 is already dead eve before it began selling to the public; I suggest people should just hold off till end of the year to choose your preferred option from the long lists above.
Whomever at Samsung who thought they could get away with just minor yearly upgrades are clearly mistaken and should be shown the door if Z fold 7 is to survive at all!

2 of my previous phones both frequently had problems recognizing my right thumb using their optical sensors, often requiring me to scan twice, or even thrice to unlock. In one of the two, I even had my right thumb registered twice as different fingers in the setting to get it to unlock in less than 3 attempts. But I have none of those issues with the ultrasonic sensors in the X Fold3 Pro.
This is my first time owning a phone with ultrasonic sensors, and boy it does impress me.

Because unless the optimisation is... moreWhy should it be much better? It's similar to the s24 ultra, you got to remember the screen is much larger so will require more power just for the space let alone any display efficiency difference.
It outperforms the honor V2 by quite a lot and they have a 5000mAH battery.
Think you have unrealistic expectations of what 5700mAH can power with larger brighter displays!

Average Dad said the vanilla X Fold 3 lasts longer than the Pro, but still I expected better results from a 5700mah battery.

Not surprising that yet another Chinese foldable has better hardware than Samsung's foldables, but the fact Vivo's beating Samsung in the display department aside from manual brightness is pretty incredible. Hopefully some of the additional improvements are brought over to the Find N4 and then possibly to the Open 2, because the only way you can get a Chinese foldable in America and actually use it without compromises is by just buying a OnePlus Open

I have my doubts about that battery being real 5700mAh.
Because unless the optimisation is non existent on this phone, that battery life should be many times better at this capacity.
Solid performance for the CPU considering the cooling, also 3 years of updates is unacceptable on any phone being 4 digits in price.
For the rest a solid device.
