"the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is a great option at a starting price of about €1,100 for the 256GB Wi-Fi model." What do you mean by that? It starts at 1449€.
Great tab cameras I'm not a fan I hardy take pics so not an issue I watch movies on this and the pic quality is great and the sound is excellent crisp clear great bass I like to draw but not great with sketchbook yet so only messing around with this so far but it's very good for just doodling so far memory I have a 1tb model so bags of space for everything I have plus more would I recommend this tablet yes its expensive but what's not to love about it.
justasmile, 15 Sep 2023Most of the time, people would just use it in landscape anyways. In portrait mode, I can accept the notch as a dummy sidebar.
But I often do photo browsing in full screen landscape and find the notch quite annoying.
It looks like a Samsung watermark on each photo.
I solved this problem by using a gallery app which allows me to switch on/off the notch on my full screen landscape.
Anonymous, 04 Oct 2023I find it odd that this is device is not being compared to the latest 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Isn&... moreThe S9+ should be compared with the 12.9" iPad Pro, not the Ultra. This Ultra is just way bigger and more expensive while not really having any spec upgrades over the S9+ apart from the cameras (which just don't matter on a tablet).
I find it odd that this is device is not being compared to the latest 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Isn't this basically trying to compete with it?
you have to suffer, 14 Sep 2023i mean, its just awkward to use it in portrait mode. notch on a tablet should not go together. So do laptops, I personally find notches ugly

rosesarerosie, 13 Sep 2023For some people it can Not everyone uses Windows exclusive apps unless you want decent battery life i'm pretty sure you can take ipads and android tablets. with windows tablet like surface, you can do so much more. not with the ARM chip. or just buy an actual laptop if necessary.
why everything have to have a notch? that's ugly design shouldn't be on Tablet, it's already big
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2023Too big Too expensive Notched. Cant be any worse This is called Ultra for a reason.
Small critics, 12 Sep 2023Red flags for usability: no wireless charging, no pogo dockI mean... how would you even be able to fit a tablet this big onto a wireless charger?
Small critics, 12 Sep 2023Red flags for usability: no wireless charging, no pogo dockI won't comment much on wireless charging since it's still not a thing on tablets, but Samsung does make a tablet with Pogo dock capability in the shape of the Tab Active 4 Pro. The only problem with the Active 4 Pro is that it's limited to business and enterprise customers.
They’re giving the 65W charger for free, that was the case with both pre-orders and now, so its not exactly right when you say Samsung doesn’t supply a charger with the tablet :). Well, this is in Europe, the US gets the slim keyboard cover I think. Maybe even the charger. Not sure what’s the situation in Asia.
Front ultra-wide camera is nice to have for some people during videoconferencing. It’s a different age now, working from home is so common for office folks and here and there you have to make a presentation over Zoom, ultra-wide is extremely handy for that because you just don’t fit when presenting over standard camera lens.
Screen notch is absolutely no issue because you don’t even notice it when doing stuff on the tablet. What really bothers me is the camera cut-out on phones – I have a phone with the largest screen ever made (Note20 Ultra) and it still bothers me! Nobody talks about that but for some reason people mention light camera protrusion on the largest tablet on the market. Where else would you put the cameras when bezels are this slim? :) By the way when watching movies you don’t see it at all, because there are black bars at the top and bottom.
I would rate the tablet 4.9 just because nothing is perfect, but I don’t even know what’s not perfect with this device!

Overpriced and oversized. Not sure how this review can recommend this tablet.
And it didn’t even compare with the M series iPads. The benchmarks compare it with a 2 year old iPad instead. Makes no sense.
You should compare its chipset performance with ipad pros m1 or m2. Definitely it is not the best hardware available to mass market.
