Vivo's so much service is very dirty, I bought a new phone and that phone was stolen within 10 days, I requested Vivo manager lock my phone or tell me some other way to get my phone,But no action was taken from Vivo and I am being pressurized to pay EMI

This is just nothing but a trash phone. If they hadn't given the useless IP68 or just gave IP67, there could still be space for stereo speakers with just about the same price.
Also a better or same chipset.
Do avoid buying V series, just get others which basically are just miles ahead, like the OnePlus Nord 3.

Galaxy A54 is at the top of mid-range, anything more expensive cant be considered mid

If only the V27 or V29 or the upcoming model has a stereo speakers set-up, I might consider getting it as my next phone. I really like its beautiful elegant design with curved screen, its vibrant photo output, its not-so-expensive price and its availability. But going to a single speaker phone from a dual front-firing speaker phone is a major downgrade for me.

DM7200 is a super efficient & cool soc. No heats up or performance issues. Clearly cost cutting.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2023Terrible battery life. No SD card No audio jack. Another overpriced trash from vivo.Audio Jack's and memory cards are being phased out and gradually becoming obsolete with the new range phones. The Bluetooth head phones and cloud storage are replacing them.

If only they use stereo speaker in this one, this should've be a great sidegrade from V27. I mean, dimensity 7200 is both faster and more power efficient than SD778G. But, this is a great move for vivo to giving IP68 in their midranger.

In 6 months time when its successor launches, Vivo would be giving huge rebates to clear V29 stock. If you dont mind buying used, you can get used V29s at even lower prices then.

Great surprise in camera performance from Vivo, way to get things exciting. Even though colors and contrast are quite bad, I guess mostly to cheap optics, with weak corners and feel even decentered, the processing surpasses x90 line - almost free of mushy like detail, sharp like classic bayer.
I wish though that Vivo could get a hold of their color science better, as it feels warm compared to samsung/sony/ maybe even oppo. They could even bring a better colors, contrast forward instead of giving like raw colors.
That being said, I wonder if processing or usage of additional sensors can save a poor raw color performance from a small weak sensor, looking at how my phone shoot, they are the same color wise, so I think better colors shouldn't be a problem even in raw, which I felt a lot in vivo phone.
Not that its needed in this phone, but they should be capable of at least doing this in jpegs.
Or is it that they need some named brand to calibrate it for them? Feels like no easy thing if even Huawei tend to shoot colors randomly sometimes and they are like top 1 in some rankings.
