It is too slow and started lagging after opening few chro... moreI agree, mine was rubbish from the start, it won't upgrade further than Android 13 and it's buggy, laggy and rubbish. I regretted buying it from day one and if I could have sent it back I would have. I ended up buying the OnePlus Pad and it wipes the floor with the Xiaomi.

Are you sure you got an original one? Literally only you out of thousands upon thousands of Xiaomi users are having that problem.

I bought this tablet in Diwali sale. It is too slow and started lagging after opening few chrome tabs and opening home screen, recents menu and browsing OS settings. How come nobody is reporting this? I regret my purchase.

It used to be somewhere else, but Google moved.
I have this tab and have done this already, so I know this will work.

How bad is that, ads , ultra spyi , buggy, unoptimized, not lookkng good ( matter of taste but nonetheless ) Even more annoyances that ipad os ( and iPad os set the bar quite high already in terms of annoyances...)

But but but... No jack no scanner no gps no cellular. Also Xiaomi is, tried a few times last year's, it's ... No words for how bad it is really anyone car use that ? Nice peoc battery weight design camera but unfinished product to me. Kind of thing you'll let in the closet after a day.

I got this tablet after my iPad Mini 6th Gen got stolen, after all the hype I'm not impressed at all with these Android Tablets.
On another note is there a way of installing a themes app, like we do on Redmi or Xiaomi phones?

Unfortunately xiaomi pad 6 does not support HD on Netflix. I could not get mine to work and it's an on going problem across the owners of pad 6 ...

Sorry I not under... moreThis Pad doesn't have a GPS module, it uses the wifi to tell apps the device location. It's not good for navigation system, but enough for day to day apps. Cutting things like that was what make possible to sell a tablet with many premium features but at mid range prices.

I no... moreHai. When I first recieve the mi pad6. I actually got the same issue with you. But then again I double check it actually not that hard when u understand how to connect the hotspot phons to mi pad. And now I use it very fine. Line 5G@wifi.
But the problem is the battery

Impressed with the video and brought it. Device is good then got new updates, they ruined it. Now have heating problem on hyperOS with android 14.. hope its gets flexible smooth update sooner, otherwise user's get disappointed day by day

OMG, don't tell me the WiFi is crippled - even on the global model (sold in EU).
I normally use channel 108 for my 5 GHz connection in my home router. The Xiaomi simply can't connect (in fact, it can't even see the 5 GHz connection!), all my other devices have no problem. When I change the channel to something like 52, then all is good. But I prefer those channels above 100 as they are not as crowded in my apartment block.

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2023can confirm that this issue persists. There is a widevine issue. It's been two months yet... moreThis doesn't only happen to MI Pad but also with S23 Ultra frequently, it's an Android wide issue. The fix is simple - search in settings for Google Play System update. Update Google Play System to latest version and it'll come with the Widevine DRM fix.

Why is there an empty part on the back that doesn't fit tightly with the tab, you can press it to feel like it's not tight
