No warranty covers ,water damage or broken screens
Tickettterco, 31 Oct 2023IP rating is essential. Sorry if you don't value your money.I bought my first cell phone in 1995, and have had a LOT of cell phones since then. In 29 years, I have never had a phone damaged by water. So I would not miss any type of water proof feature. What I do miss is the capability to remove my battery and swap it with a another one, or to totally replace it with a high capacity one.
Tickettterco, 31 Oct 2023IP rating is essential. Sorry if you don't value your money.Samsung didn't honor (kek) my friend's Galaxy S7 warranty in Korea back in the days. Even ip68 has a limit. And wouldn't mean anything to scammy service techs like Samsung lmao.
Tickettterco, 31 Oct 2023IP rating is essential. Sorry if you don't value your money. It won't even be essential if the brands won't even cover warranty for water damages.
Buntyster, 26 Aug 2023Yeah I also feel that wireless charging AND IP rating are definitely over-ratedIP rating is essential. Sorry if you don't value your money.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2023No wireless charging
Not waterproof
No zoom camera 50X
I agree lack of wireless charging is a bummer for me too, but everything else I feel makes up for it enough that I can live without it.
IP rating would always be a positive thing, but I've never really considered needing it so I dont value it very high personally.
Does ANY phone have 50x zoom lol?
No wireless charging
Not waterproof
No zoom camera 50X
LGs, 12 Jul 2023That remains a Galaxy foldable exclusive, still, though maybe the next Magic V will get there?... moreThe Galaxy Z Fold 5 may not have any official IP rating as well as that of the Flip 5.
I love the Android industry re-inventing the “communicator” device segment (for those who know) that Nokia and Ericsson started with the 9000/R series long ago and can be found on the GSM arena database.
This design is THE most useable of this form factor I’ve seen yet:
Better battery technology,
Proper putter screen width (matching what the Oppo Find N2 has),
s Pen on both putter and inner displays - something in sure Samsung is screaming at the top of their lungs with! Doing so should actually kill the Ultra line like that did with the Note lineup and should bring pricing down.
Stronger materials to allow for thinner and smaller hinge on Hockney’s and width without affecting rigidly.
I hope it will get App Drawer and Taskbar.
doh, 14 Jul 2023Man, I wish the telephoto was 5x. It's shorter than my F4 which I found a bit lacking :(Yeah 2,5x zoom is just mediocre, 3x or 4x should really be the minimum.
Anonymous, 15 Jul 2023Did you read the hands-on? It's got a titanium frame and titanium is much stronger then a... moreDid YOU read the article? Cuz it does not have a titanium frame, only the hinge is made of titanium while the frame is some magnesium alloy. Not that it's bad (hopefully) but it's no titanium.
I have the Honor Magic VS, and besides many software issues, I'm still on May security patch. Never buying and Honor product again.
EG3Po, 13 Jul 2023So does it have an aluminum frame like Pixel Fold that bends and breaks easily or is it strong... moreDid you read the hands-on? It's got a titanium frame and titanium is much stronger then aluminium. So it probably won't have a pixel fold fiasco.
