Hemedans, 12 Jun 2023Amoled is efficient only if you display dark colors, when you display Bright colors its not as... moreFrankly I don't need OLED on phones like I would on a tv or monitor. The small screen does not make a difference whether it's OLED or LCD. And most of the time if u use white theme OLED drains more battery than LCD. The only advantage of OLED is the infinite black levels
Gngrbreadman, 19 Jul 2023An excellent phone at this price tag. It offers ample storage, along with an SD slot; a 3.5 mm... moreIt's due to the high resolution screen which needs higher ram to display at that resolution..the CPU isn't that powerful in phones to begin with and so they need higher to compensate for that as well
Story, 29 Aug 2023 I bought this phone last week and I am so happy I did... I love how wide the screen which is... moreThis is a common problem with Samsung AMOLED phones. Unlike tvs the don't y have anti burn in features. And phone running OS has most of the time many static elements that can cause OLED burn in
Which is better A24 or note 10 plus
Vahid8989, 28 Aug 2023Hello, does this phone support 4.5G network? just 4G
I bought this phone last week and I am so happy I did... I love how wide the screen which is great for mobile games. No lag and eveything is smooth. Just praying the pink and white lines won't happen again my samsung a71 had that which why I bought a new phone a24
I see the battery life is 141 hours, which is outstanding. But is it in 90Hz mode, or in 60Hz ?
Is there a huge difference in the battery life between these two modes ?
I've had this phone for a about 2 months and I can say I'm very impressed with the ui/ux
Overall the phone is more than enough for social media and daily use
The battery lasts about 1 day and fast charing is crazy good with it taking half an hour for about 50% battery juice
The screen is very good for my taste and is very bright outdoors.
However some bugs that make it impossible to use the phone due to it not fully waking up and the processor gets stuck at like a very low clock speed but fortunately it has only happened maybe twice in a period of 2 months
I recommend this phone for anyone looking for a good, entry level phone with a decent price !!
lgrpenuka, 18 Aug 2023what do you guys think, after 4 os upgrades phone can be slow down, before a24 I owned an a12... moreThe difference is A12 had a Helio P35 (A12) or Exynos 850 (A12 Nacho) and both of those are old slow chipsets, P35 having only A53 cores which are from 2012 and 850 only A55 from 2018, this G99 has 2x A76 cores and 6x A55. Atleast the 6 and 8GB RAM models won't get really slow
UwUOvO, 11 Jun 2023Here you are:

after 4 os upgrades phone can be slow down, before a24 I owned an a12, it was much faster in the old days, but after 2 os upgrades now its lagging lagging lagging ...,
I think this will apply to all budget phones, at this time a24 doesn't have any problems, but after 4 os upgrades I am probably sure this one will slow down,
so what happens if we pause updates, I want to know your opinions so please reply

The real problem in this phone is there is no call recording option.
What type of screen protection and Is the screen shock resistant?
The only real problem with this phone is the speaker is very quiet. Samsung should upgrade its speaker quality or put stereo speakers
An excellent phone at this price tag. It offers ample storage, along with an SD slot; a 3.5 mm headphone jack and NFC. More open than an iPhone; I would recommend you buy this one. (And did I mention a 3.5 mm headphone jack?)
Personally I have noticed that there is a trend with smartphones these days (especially Android based) for them to have exorbitant RAM. Is it because of the inadequate GPU's the Android OEM's (nd System on Chip) uses?
This may have caused these crazy price hikes on modern smartphones. (As a result, they cost the same or more than a desktop computer.)
I may still be old school; but why would a smartphone OS [in this case Android - even the Samsung Galaxy A24] need 4 GB of RAM to run? Usually that amount of RAM would be reserved for desktop PC's. (And OS's)
And now (Android) smartphones need 6/8 GB of ram to run - the same as a fully featured gaming PC.
Am I missing something here? Wouldn't I rather just get a normal PC for a cheaper price tag? Lord forbid, even a Playstation 4.
These devices use micro computer processors less than a laptop; so I don't understand.
Perhaps (Android) OEM's (and hence the SoC's) could improve the GPU so it does not require so much system RAM.
Maybe then we could compete with the iphone.
I would much rather pay for a thing that can play decent games at such a price tag (looking at Android smartphone market trends.)
I repeat; I have never heard of a micro processor(s) that needs pplul58 GB to run
