Hemedans, 30 Mar 2023Turbo version is Good if they release it worldwide. Redmi note 12 Pro+ costs already 500€. So the turbo will cost what ... 600€+. No thanks.

So the A54 isn't as bad as the A53, but the S20 FE 5G and A52s absolutely do not have company in the pantheon of 2020s Samsungs that are priced to talk non-brand-loyal consumers out of the Chinese brands.
Did Samsung price these betting that said Chinese phones would be banned everywhere or something? Only explanation for the launch price.
Very glad I recommended an A52s to multiple friends. They essentially have a half-price A54 with fewer updates left.

ok, the review convinced me.
I will buy it, at least compared to the competition it still has the SD card slot, the camera is competent and the chip will certainly not be the best in class, but it seems reliable.
all the other mid-rangers fell behind, xiaomi leads the pack.
I wait for the price to drop a little and I will buy A54 samsung
Terrible phone by Samsung. I can't imagine how hard Samsung execs are laughing at those dumb enough to buy it at the (overpriced) full price, let alone preorder it.

I wonder how they keep up with so many models and all the updates. It must be very expensive to have so many engineers working on this.

Well seems G68 MP5 helped them, atleast they can match sd 778G and battery life not bad.
But still they need to bridge gape with flagship, i hope there will be pro/S version with sd 7+ gen 2

what charging method is used to get the charging time at 1:03h? me and some of my acquaintances only got an average time of 1:21h in real conditions. and not even from 0%

I tried it in the store yesterday, overall it's a nice phone. But the bezels are unacceptable for 2023 and in this price range!

23mm for a normal camera is too wide FL. People, faces and everything gets very distorted. This is a bad trend to put such wide lense for normal camera. In this case, there should be along wth it 50mm short tele lens.

Well after reading this review i've mixed feelings about A54, my current phone has the same 778G as A52s and i really want to upgrade where i'll get everything better. I guess Galaxy S is for my needs then.
Overall i'm glad they ,,upgraded" the exynos this time, the phone does look nice and has good specs but for 350-ish €.
I'll have to skip Galaxy A this year.

Happy with my A52s, I like design of A54, but egdges of display are insane bigger... Still, better option than Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G + or whatever the name, there's already offerings for 380 € from providers, while Xiaomi keeps 500 € price. Insane...
