13T and 13T Pro cameras output better image quality than this.
Tivan, 21 Sep 2023I own this phone for a few months now, Global version of MIUI. Software is perfectly nice. No ... moreWell i used many Xiaomi devices, RN 9 Pro, 12 Lite and even a higher 12T. Changing the wallpapers was always buggy, changing to dark mode horrible, swiping from an app sometimes can be laggy and many more. For me it's reversed, i used Samsung most of my life and i never had issues except for A6+ which was horrible. I switched to S23 and i couldn't be happier right now. But yeah, everyone has different experiences so i respect yours.
To those complaining about the price in the EU:
I completely agree, the launch price should have been 600-700 € rather than 1000 €.
Thankfully you can buy a 8/256GB unit from the likes of Gomibo and MobileShop (along with warranty) for around 750€.
And to those who, like me, dislike MIUI:
There will be fully-functional AOSP in the very near future.
As someone who owns a Pixel 6 Pro and the S22, the Xiaomi 13 takes the cake for me (after installing AOSP).
UltraHD, 27 Feb 2023Nice device, definitely not worth 1000€ price. This should've been priced at 600-700€ max... moreI own this phone for a few months now, Global version of MIUI. Software is perfectly nice. No bloatware, no ads, no any kind of limitations that I can see that would render this phone less usable then others. Coming from ONEUI I can tell for sure this phone's software is not worse. It all comes to personal preference in the end, but for that you need to use it first.
In these few months I had absolutely zero issues, crashes, restarts...nothing... It just works.
Oh I actually do have one intermittent issue with Google Pay...sometimes it just does not work. Other then that, everything else top tier.
ehe , 02 Sep 2023just buy a PC or PS5 for genshin at that point, no?Can you bring your Genshin anywhere besides your home? Can your Genshin machine keeps receiving calls and SMS messages in the background?

MonkP, 18 Jul 2023I've brought one at 12.27.2022, and it's pretty cool, unless playing Genshin Impact. Also got it, really nice phone that checks all the boxes, can handle Genshin like a champ.
wannabe techy, 14 Jul 2023I learned that it gets too hot, from who owns a Xiaomi 13 does its thermal are really poor?I've brought one at 12.27.2022, and it's pretty cool, unless playing Genshin Impact.

Guys is the proximity sensor virtual or a normal one that actually works? Had to sell 12s because of that nasty software sensor that never worked a d I was simply not able to listen to voice notes in whatsup as my ear was always typing
not a xiaomi (google dialer) so everybody flash xiaomi.eu for miui dialer
no video output (at this price point), no microsd, no audio jack. Almost everyone wants memory expansion and 3.5mm jack but all those donkeys keep on leaving them out
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2023It's a good phone but the lowlight camera performance leaves a lot to be desired. Very po... moreThe honor v30pro had outstanding cameras at that. time. It was a phone in a similar price category to the Xiaomi 13. It shows that there has been virtually no progress in cameras at this price point. The lowlight cameras on this though are significantly worse than slightly cheaper competitors like the x90 and Oneplus 11. It's a pity they couldn't have either given a betteer main camera sensor or better nighttime software optimisation as that's the only major weakness with thephone that I can see at least
Current price is around 700usd, in next 3 months should be down to 550-600 range. Compact phone with great spec and flat screen, but due to its small size i think it will not sucess. The mi 13 pro would have been great if it had flat screen.

ashrobb, 27 Feb 2023Wow, how are they getting that sustained performance from these SD8G2 chips? They would be in ... moreIt got really hot to the point it's uncomfortable to touch. BBK's approach is better throttling the chip a little bit to strike a balance of sustained performance & thermals for longevity.
Xiaomi is being careless with software optimization nowonder it showed the overheating notification. Previously MIUI would have closed the app terminating the CPU Throttling Test like in previous Xiaomi phones. But Xiaomi would sacrifice thermals & longevity for numbers even when the phone is unusable after the test due to it being too hot to touch, that's kinda careless but hey Xiaomi will always be Xiaomi! Never Again Xiaomi #NAXiaomi
