Great phone, however, it's too expensive, at least for now. I don't quite like iOS, but for now I would prefer cheaper iPhone 12. If prices go down below, S23 will be great choice.

I have read some pro reviews that state the major difference between Sony and Samsung sensors is hardware noise suppression which is more efficient on Sony, that's why pictures are better and more detailed with those sensors as software doesn't need to compensate as much.
Also IMX766 is very capable sensor, after all it is used in Vivo X80 Pro and Oppo Find X5 Pro and look how high they stand in picture quality.

Now I really want to see what the competition will be between Samsung and Xiaomi:
Samsung S23 vs Xiaomi 13
Samsung S23+ vs Xiaomi 13 Pro
The two things that I'm annoyed by Samsung is:
* The low amount of RAM.
* The slow charging speed (GSM should have listed this as cons)
I would have liked Samsung to be 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB which is what Xiaomi will be able to provide (they also have 8GB/128B and 12GB/256GB). The charging speed shouldn't be any less than 45W, it's year 2023 now and we will be irritated by this slow 25W speed in one or two years when standard speed will be over 50W.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is proven to be a good efficient SoC when it comes to the battery. I hope this pressure Google to up its battery efficiency game on the Pixel 8 series.

The S22 is a great phone for those who like a lighter/more compact phone, but battery life will probably not be sufficient if your a moderate to heavy user. Also, the cameras on the 7 Pro have the edge, but the image/video quality is broadly similar on both phones.

My S21 takes good photos, but I much prefer the natural processing of my Pixel 4a 5G. That's probably why I'll always gravitate towards a Pixel for my main phone and a Samsung for my work phone. I wish Samsung would make the photos more true to life.
