I personally think these 2022 models are lazy upgrades. It's like Samsung knows the other Chinese OEMs aren't much of a threat, so no need to try harder. Samsung will only start to feel threatened when Apple enters foldables.
Fold 4 should've got the S-Pen silo of the S22 Ultra. Flip 4 should've got the bigger cover display as 1.9" is still useless even with SamSprung apk and should've got the same cameras as the Fold series.
I'm good with what I have. I'll keep my Flip 3 as my photo here on this website because my Flip 3 actually is more photogenic than my Razr for some reason. But Razr looks better in real-life.
We need more competition or Samsung can continue with the lazy upgrades. It's like going from iPhone 12 to 13. Bigger battery. Ok, what else? Nothing. That's it.

Samsung still doesn´t quite get it the real concept of a flip phone. Basically this is almost (if not the same flip 3 phone). Too subtle most users won´t find any differences at all.
I think Motorola has a real chance tomorrow with the new RAZR 3. If they don´t screw up this time, and make the phone world wide available they may have a winner!

It's what the flip 3 should have been. Higher quality camera and better battery. But for gen4 it seems lacking anything new or enticing, and not making me feel like rushing our to spend 1000$

Huge disappointment 😞..was not expecting that samsung is going to just offer cosmetic upgrades to fold 4 like that. Most part of the device is like fold 3 and looks like samsung management decided yet again to reap only the profits for another year and not giving any attention to what the customers actually want. There are literally better folding phones offered in market by competitors and that even at less price than what samsung is charging. Usd1800 device and camera still from 2020 plus the dreaded display crease still visible like a sore thumb!!!Not worth buying in my opinion and Samsung must up its game otherwise customers will just buy folding phones from other manufacturers.

I like a flip phone but I can never buy this.
Old s21 camera plus no telephoto.
Front camera is worse than my S10.
Battery should of been 4000mah.
Price will be much higher than s22.

So still the same mediocre package as previous Samsung foldables.. Chinese competition has blown Samsung away in that regard with their first or second gen, this feels like the same situation Intel was in, not doing anything but wait until the competition caught up.

What has really changed since first generation?
I understand all the limitations of technology back in the days, but now buying twice as expensive device, crease, smaller battery, bulkier. Really don't get it.

Beside cameras on the Fold, i don't see anything new. This looks like Z Flip/Fold3 New Edition more than brand new series.
