Video from the selfie camera is absolutely terrible. The texture trembles and it's noisier than even the old Oppo K3. Really disappointed by Oppo. Vivo is more reliable. Have had the V11 Pro, V15 Pro and now X80. Each better than the other.

Jayesh, 28 Jul 2022I buy Reno 8 with Xchange of Poco X3 :) Xchange Value is 13500 :):)How its user experience so far?
I mean battery timming and other software stuff...
U should have suggest Vivo V23 ....on par with the selfie camera
Auto recording is possible without warning and tab?
I'm getting this phone for 16500 INR in India after exchanging my poco X3 and bank offer. OnePlus nord 2t is costing 21000 after all discount and exchange. It's MRP is high but with offers its final price seems reasonable considering the camera performance.
Oppo phones are trash because they are overpriced.
At this point it's just better to get a Xiaomi or a Samsung.
Copy from samsung and paste like a junk.

I kinda loved the (relative) compact-ness (thanks to much thinner chin) & design of the Reno6 5G, but we seem to have gone backwards again (except for the Reno7 5G which somehow brought back the 3.5mm HPJ & microSD slot)
Except for its more powerful SoC, better main camera lens and faster charging, I don't see any unique selling points that are enough to convince me to go for it rather than the cheaper Samsung A73 5G.
The bottom thick bezel is a deal breaker. I don't mind plastic body good at adsorbing shocks from drops especially when you drop your phone alot, but that thick bottom bezel sh#t
Bob, 21 Jul 2022Yeah, I guess you can call 160 mm a "compact" size now...hell nooooo!!!

AnonD-1058351, 20 Jul 2022Despite not having an OIS the night time photos are really good. How it is possible ? 🤔OIS is helpful to eliminate bluriness from camera shake when lighting conditions are not good and the phone is using a slower shutter speed. However, it's not going to automatically improve the actual quality of the photos if the camera is held steady. That is determined more by the hardware and image processing algorithm. As another commenter said, if the camera is maintained very steady then OIS isn't going to have much impact on photo quality at night and it will make no difference at all to photos during good daylight. Even a flagship like the Huawei mate 40 pro doesn't have OIS but despite this, even a couple of years after release it is still one of the top performing phones at night in automatic mode without OIS. It performs better at night than the p40 pro which has OIS and the same main camera sensor due to improved software image processing and an upgraded ISP in the newer chip.
