how much of the stock one+ bloatware can you uninstall? The review should mention this but it doesn't. yes i know you can deny some of it during setup but there are others that are always installed.

This puts the Mid in Mid-Range. Solid phone, absolutely nothing exceptional, except maybe the resolution of the camera, but the limited features of that make it less impressive.
Speed is pretty good, screen is better than I expected, fingerprint recognition is hit ot miss and not quick. Oxygen 12 is also so-so. Not well organized, difficult to find online support for anything other than simplest questions. Settings are confusing to use. The lock screen info (time, date, etc) is pretty - the red 1s are clever - but not very customizable. Even the client apps for OnePlus aren't well integrated or reliable.
Last bit I'll add is that while charging is pretty amazing, the phone also SECRETLY opens a LOT of apps I never use, especially Google apps. Not only does it drain the battery faster (though I can still go up to 1 1/2 to 2 days on a charge), but it opens a TON of backdoor surveillance by/for Google. I've had to REMOVE most of the Google apps (One, Drive, Music, Calendar, Gmail, and more) to keep them from autloading. I couldn't even park them in the archive section to stop them. Even now, after I've changed my default browser, I HAVE to keep Chrome because it still insists using Chrome for a lot of links.
Is it better than most $200-300 phones? Probably. Is it worth $200? Probably not. If the battery in my Galaxy A20 wasn't dying, I would probably have returned it.
Good enough phone, not a great value. That part of the OnePlus business model seems to be disappearing altogether.
I absolutely love this phone. I switched from pixel 6 to this one and it works way better for a fraction of the cost. It's reliable, snappy, has good features, and customization. I can see myself staying with OnePlus in the future once this one dies
Anonymous, 22 May 2022Bad phone bad service Why are you saying bad? Please tell me the details
I have both n20 and n200 TMobile. Definitely not the same quality as their more expensive phones. Nicest problem I have is that they miss a 5G band that's on the N200 so in some areas no or spotty coverage. The other issue is that I have tried to turn off every specials camera feature but a plain shot in daylight is often over 5mb so I can't even send over pic with Gmail. Any ideas as I'm such with this office unless I pay off early. All I wanted as a phone to make clear calls and take pictures that are good enough to id the subject matter
Beautiful pis
It's amazing! Good battery good speed good sound ,.

Companies cant make loss leaders for ever, You just got spoiled. This is a perfectly adequate phone at its price point given the competition of Moto and Sammy.

"It has the point
"oh and by the way. Interestingly, OnePlus One started at about the same price as this garbage. How the mighty have fallen..."
The original iPhone was launched for the same price as the SE, so I don't understand that, any high-end was $400 and today $1,100; it is not something exclusive to Oneplus, this is capitalism
