Nice low light photos, but a proper night mode should light up the scene and give it a boost. So form me, the Vivo X70 PRO+ remain (night mode) BY FAR the best low light photo shooter so far.

I still ... moreOPPO originates from my home country. A commonly shared idea among users is that Reno is just an experimental project. The first generation did provided excellent hardware and at a very reasonable price.
Think of it! A $400~450 device has a flagship SOC, fast charging, OIS, a versatile set of shooters (even a periscope telephoto!).
However as time goes by, more and more buyers realized that Reno is just another R series. They use the very same recipes as they did back in 2015. Mid-tier soc, mid-tier shooters, eye-catching designs. That's it.
And, the former top manager has already left the department.

Samsung makes 73 billion dollars revenue with mobile, Oppo makes 35.
Kinda hard to match the support. Dont you think?
Don't understand why people think S22 ultra or iPhone 13 Pro Max is better. The Oppo literally has a better display than both of them in terms of bit depth (10bit vs 8bit) and colour accuracy. It's Ultrawide camera also performs way better than any other phone's ultra wide, has better stabilization (3-axis sensor-shift + 2-axis lens OIS), uses ultratransparent glass for lens instead of plastic, longer battery lifespan thanks to higher charging cycle (~1600 vs ~800). And Oppo promised 3 Android updates and 4 years of security updates instead of just 2 years like some comments here claim.
Imagine spending $1200+ on midiocure software support. And Oppo only offer 2 years of software support. What Oppo doesn't know is that Samsung, Apple & Google offer 5 years of software support nowonder they charge higher prices even lower than find x5 pro. Oppo's 2 years of software support doesn't cut it if you were to charge €1200+ for your flagship Oppo. Atleast offer to unlock your bootloader like Xiaomi & OnePlus for custom roms support if you're not willing to offer software support longer.
I would rate Oppo last if I were to spend that money on a flagship due to poor software support;
5 years software support
1. iphone 13 pro (notch not a fan)
2. galaxy 22 ultra (throttling apps)
3. pixel 6 pro (slow charging)
Unlocked bootloader for longer custom rom support
4. xiaomi 12 pro (overheating)
5. oneplus 10 pro (no ip68)
2 years software support then divorced
6. find x5 pro (poor software support)
Flagships have become complacent. Yet to see a true flagship none of the above cut it imo

I still want one, if I could get at a reasonable price!
FIND X: I am one of the first 50w-charging phones and has a cool motorized front camera, not to say a complete screen.
FIND X2PRO:I am a typical glass sandwich but I have periscope telephoto and a decent main sensor, not to say a 2K 120 screen and an IP68 rated chassis.
FIND X3PRO:I have newer sensors and an iPhone-like 3D back panel. Wait where's my periscope?
FIND X5PRO be like:(Searching through the specs) What about reuse almost everything?
I doubt that more than 5 of these will ever be sold. Nobody in his right mind would pay the asked price when they could get a proper flagship like S22 Ultra or iPhone 13 Pro Max. This is a $700 phone.
When OEMs like Google & Samsung offer 5 years of software support Oppo's 2 years software support is unacceptable.
Higher review score than Samsung S22 Ultra and Apple iphone 13 Pro Max .
Congrats Oppo!
Definitely Phone of the Year

It's a really nice phone but the deal breaker is Opoos 2 years of software support for a phone costing €1000+. I would choose a phone with unlockable bootloader like OnePlus to continue software support after Opoos 2 years honeymoon is over. That's what gives OnePlus phone's value. Imagine OnePlus 7T pro is still getting updates & it's on Android 12, Oppo phone's release in 2020 no longer have software support "divorced" SOFTWARE SUPPORT IS A DEAL BREAKER FOR THIS PHONE.
No doubt, its a nice flagship phone with a flagship price. But, if i'm a consumer spending $1300, I think logic dictates I'd rather get an iPhone, which will have longer software support and higher resale aftermarket value.
I can say that this is a pretty good flagship phone. It has an excellent screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC that I could say, was optimized much better comparing to its rivals, good camera quality, decent battery life with charging speed that's kinda good also, up-to-date software and a design that was a little too 'over-the-top' but certainly still looks quite unique and premium. My only problem with this phone that it's barely an improved comparing to the previous generations, especially in the camera department, as the Find X2 Pro actually has a 5x periscope, or the X3 Pro with the one at only 2x, but we got a 'not-very-useful' but unique microscope lens. The X5 Pro, has none, and the resolution has remained the same for 2 generations (both X3 Pro, and X5 Pro has a 50+50+13 setup), combining with the fact that there ain't OIS in the tele lens, they kinda fall short comparing to its rivals, like the iPhone 13 Pro Max or the S22 Ultra, or even the Oneplus 10 Pro, which comes from the same company while being cheaper, has that. Another thing is the ultrawide ain't very wide at only 110 degrees, while the competition has moved on to 120-130 degrees, even the cheaper one from the same BBK companies, like Realme or Oneplus have 150-degrees lens. Nonetheless, this one is still a flagship that is actually worth taking a look at.
Motorola and xiaomi were the 2 to announced phones with 8g1 way before the other.
Both have weakest endurance of phones with more than 4500mAh + 8g1
Except the horrible UI, X80 Pro+ and X Note are better devices.
Anyway, paying €1300 on this is better than €900 on oneplus with all those cuts.
