Has anyone happened to be in such a case... moreIt's Normal to be 0% charge because it was almost a year since the cellphone came out to market base on the time of your comment. this will have happened to all phones that are note used for long time. no problem for the life span of battery as long as your phone turned on and you already used normally :-)

Really nice phone. Pity it comes with Android 11 out of the box. Knowing Xiaomi update policy on Redmi models, this will get 2 software updates. That means it will not get anything above Android 13. Taking into consideration that Android 13 is just around the corner, this is a 12-18 months phone to be used with best and latest software update on board. Not enough for the best Redmi phone in 2022.

Shipped with Android 11 out of the box? That means Xiaomi will only give ONE major OS update since pretty much everyone is running Android 12 to date.

When you can buy a 8/256 Poco F3 for 200 pound of the Xiaomi mi store in the UK with a Snapdragon 870 and similar screen and speakers why bother with redmi phones.
