Does it have pressure sensitive screen in display monster touch
Hello Life, 01 Mar 2022Fake curved display That's been done to reduce accidental touches on the sides when playing videos and games, while giving the phone a sleek, premium look. It also increases the protection of the OLED underneath, because if you drop the phone, the impact will be sustained by the protective glass on top and won't hit the display. That's a huge win-win in my opinion.
Devices that use an actual curved OLED are way more prone to damage at the smallest drops, and accidental touches are abundant. Image distortion is also an issue. This is why iPhones don't come with curved display, they're just very impractical. How do you solve that? Well, you provide a curved display illusion like on the IQOO 9 Pro and Huawei's P50 Pro. That way, you get gorgeous design language and prevent ergonomic problems as well

How's the Slow Motion video capture on this device?
Anonymous, 25 Feb 2022IQoo 9 pro -"the 4,700mAh battery scored a total endurance rating of 97 hours, which is a... morebecause the s22+ did worse than the s21+, i guess thats why they were disappointed
I have a 3 year old LG G8x, would I replace it with iqoo9 even if you give me some cash with it? Nope. And my reasons are:
1. We have a run of the mill product with only high quality parts, but not enough focus on software & overall quality. You're telling me that to get G8x level of 4K quality, I'll have to go 8k? That too without 60 fps?
Why don't these Chinese firms work on the software level? What's the point of a 50 MP Cam, if a 12MP exceeds in some matters?
2. The audio jack is missed, the ip rating too. I don't immerse my phone in water, but I have had some rain trips. And it held its own.
3. No slow motion modes at about 3 chipset generations later than SD855, wait, you must be kidding me?
4. A slightly worse selfie camera from what I saw. The 32MP in G8x somewhat aces the test.
5. In the marketing names of Dolby Atmos and such fancy keywords, underlying is average audio quality that doesn't even match the amazing Iqoo3 before it, leave alone G8x with its QuadDAC.
Now, I can't ignore the pros as well, whether its the display, the power, the night mode, etc but simply I can only say, I don't like the direction where all this is going.
If they simply concentrate on giving more quality instead of outrageous spec sheets, may I'll be more impressed.
Honestly, dear mobile industry, what have you done in the past 3 years except increasing processing power and RAM?
BBK electronics ruling the roster
Don't mind the price hike, since the quality of a lot of components inside this phone are some of the best in the industry.
But at Rs.70k here in India, they should have made the phone get an IP68 rating
IQoo 9 pro -"the 4,700mAh battery scored a total endurance rating of 97 hours, which is a very good result for a flagship."
Samsung S22+ - "Unfortunately , the S22+ does not excel in the battery department, scoring 97 hours in our standardized test."
Both getting 97hrs battery test result, but the conclusion of GSMArena is different for both.
What you smoking buddy??!!!
That con list is a pretty much a dealbreaker (especially the overheating part). One would think BBK & it's sub-brands would be producing generally flawless phones by now, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
