Should I buy pixel 6 pro in end of 2023? I have great deal on the phone. Wondering is there any issues with hardware or software? Appreciate your help!

Google pixel 6 pro is not launched in India. Therefore I couldn't get it serviced for white patches appearing on the screen inspite of fact it was under warranty as I had purchased through Amazon.in on 24.10.2022. I had get serviced from Digital Repairs Thane Maharashtra after paying Rs.27896/-. However the servicing was not done properly and had to give once again for servicing.
The screen cracked and I was unable to login with the PIN because the screen was broken. I lost all my important data and messages. This phone should have a face unlock and at least that would have made life easier to retrieve my data.
Mumu, 13 Jan 2023I m facing the same problem now. Call is dropping Omg, this phone is useless, pls don't buy, very poor battery life even though it's equiped with 5000mh battery , I had to switch of almost all additional features to make it survive for 8 hours of work, and the most annoying this is call dropping when you are on dual sim, ( 1 physical+ 1 e sim), it's a nightmare to get a call connected and even if it's get connected it's cuts of with in 20 seconds of talking, what a crap, shame google , you just wasted my money
Not impressed with the camera. it doesn't like close up shots such as documents and is ultra blurry unless you select x2 but this is no go if you are using an app such as banking that needs to use the camera without the gizmos of the camera app. Also, is slow to charge.
Not a good phone by any metric. The edge-bonded screen makes the display feel cheap and plastic. The latest GBoard update for Android 13 is buggy and automatic spell correct and predictive typing doesn't work (on a Google phone for goodness sakes!) I had to revert the update to make things work again. The camera is amazing, which is why I bought it, but the user experience sucks. The fingerprint sensor is an awful gimmick and the light is annoying and too bright. It's the kind of thing they would have put on a 2005 phone if they had the technology because some genius thought that giving you a glowing thumb looked cool. The sensor on my Poco M4 Pro is 50x quicker and more responsive. I cannot believe that this is one generation away from being a Google flagship. I am going to keep it for the summer to take lots of pictures and then I'm going to sell it and get a proper phone with a decent user experience. This will be my last Pixel device. It is hard to believe with all the people Google have working behind the scenes that they have made such a horrible, buggy, unintuitive phone which is trumped by budget mid-range phones from China.
Is that price like for real pixel 6pro...I doubt
I've owned this phone for 6 months. It's now on Amazon for $354. I can't imagine a better bang for buck. Updates have fixed early issues. Their are some design issues though.
1 Fingerprint reader is a tad slow. Not a deal breaker.
2 Charging only 20w not 30. 2.5 hours to charge.
3 can't use 4X zoom with 1080p video recording, only with 4k. Big oversight... Almost a deal breaker.
4 Can't use voice enhance with 4k video recording.
5 Curved edges make getting good screen protectors and cases difficult.
There is one outstanding ability nobody mentions: taking photos of subjects against bright backgrounds.
Was absolutely fantastic for 8 months then died for absolutely no reason. Turns out if you look hard enough there seems to be hardware failures that masquerade as a fastboot loop with no way to recover.
Phone was fine but reliability is garbage and support even more so.

Been with apple for a few few years and honestly the pixel 6 pro is an amazing phone love everything about it , only thing is the battery life could be better but all in all a brilliant device ,

It has a mediocre battery life, slow charging and other issues but its main camera is easily the best in the world when it comes to still photography. I admit the selfie camera is horrible.

Worse, I trusted her advice!
I'd been using Samsung products for more than 30 years.
Always good for my needs.
She said buying another Samsung wouldn't be all that great. Better I should get a Google Pixel 6 Pro!
Her advice was/is total BS!
ASAP, I'm ditching Pixel 6 and going back to Samsung!
The battery of the P6P in the beta program is getting better and better. The phone is holding up great, everything is great!
There is something I don't get from the review or the phone itself. Isn't the telephoto camera able to take portraits? These should be good as they are on most phones with a telephoto. Somehow the review makes it look as if this isn't possible and only the main cam takes portraits...
