Dudenoway, 14 Sep 2021Listen. If u dotn want thin and lightweight phone and u never experienced the feeling of it. (... moreMy last phone was 165 g and my current phone is about 210 g. The current phone has very good battery and I kinda got used to the current phone's weight, but for sure would love the next phone to be much lighter. I am definitely willing to sacrifice some battery life to have a lighter phone. I appreciate and can totally see why Motorola released the Edge 20 series the way they did.

If u dotn want thin and lightweight phone and u never experienced the feeling of it. (my phone is a joy to use 5.8 inch and less than 8mm thin and less than 180grams)then u can simply ignore it. I would love to have larger battery as my phone has small 3kmah. And I think 4-4.5k mah is enough

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2021Yeah, the lack of OIS sucks BUT in return, they put a telezoom cam, which is unheard at this p... mores20 FE? it has 3x optical zoom and has OIS on the main cam which I think makes more sense since you use that for night shots, it also has a bigger 4,500 mah battery. In most markets it retails about the same price now and huge discounts coming up especially since s21 fe is just around the corner.

rizki1, 13 Sep 2021ok please explain to me what's different and pros and cos of OLED, AMOLED, sAMOLED panel. That's gonna be a long answer. I will try to be as short as possible. Think of a hierarchy.
OLED is the parent. It is further classified into Active Matrix OLED (AMOLED) and Passive Matrix OLED (PMOLED). AMOLED uses a transistor film to control the OLEDs whereas PMOLED each raw is sequentially updated.

All phones uses AMOLED now. Creating further confusion LGs POLED is actually an AMOLED. The 'P' in that actually means Polymer/plastic because it is bendy or something.

Now Super AMOLED means the touch digitizer is integrated into the display. Unless your phone isn't that old in which, despite being an AMOLED the display is very thick, it is a Super AMOLED.

So all phones whether they say it's OLED/ AMOLED/ sAMOLED , are actually using sAMOLED panels.

Since all are the same technology, there are no pros and cons.

I was using exaggeration to point out the fault in your logic that a52s has better display than edge 20 because a52s is super amoled and edge 20 is "simple" amoled. You can't say one is worse than other just because one has super slapped in front of them.

Whereas this moto and Samsung a52s uses 10bit, 1 billion colors, hdr10+, dcip3 panel. One of them is marketed as super and other isn't. You can't say one is worse than other just because one has super slapped in front of them.
Both of them are obviously better than the panel on redmi note 10 pro max.

What good is a gaming Screen (144hz) that is not of much use other than gaming if you don't offer the full gaming setup. At least have a huge battery and stereo speakers. The Edge 20 seems positioned totally wrong imho. Also: Motorola should really work on 3+ years upgrades since this will be the biggest selling point of future android phones instead of trying to flood the market (like samsung and xiaomi) with tons of mediocre handsets.

Who doesn't want battery life? But still people, most of, who know what it's like to own a slim and lightweight phone will surely take it for slightly lesser battery life. That feel everytime you pick it up!! Instead of using the phone as a gadget, you'll start to love it. It'll be a joy to use the phone..

It's really worth the battery tradeoff, for me atleast.
