RM6 Owner, 01 May 2021I've now owned the red magic 6 pro since launch, and I've never once experienced any... moreIt's been hell for me though, I also bought mine after the launch. But it's been overheating and nothing else for me.
The phone heats up to 62°C in Genshin Impact on the lowest settings. 57°C in CODM on medium graphics settings and the 90FPS option ticked. 55°C in PUBGM on Ultra HD or HDR modes, either on 45 or 60FPS.
Their support has been ghosting me and ignoring all my mails, social media questions, etc... it just sucks for me.
I can't enjoy any game without getting horrible FPS drops, cooking my hands to perfection and having a potential fire hazard in between my fingers. Oh and that 62°C on Genshin Impact was with the Dual-Core Cooler and the internal fan both running as hard as they could.
I doubt the phone would survive if I took off the Peltier module powered cooler.. they really should give me a replacement as they've been ignoring me for a whole year now. I think I'm gonna take the issue to court as they don't have any real stores I can go to.
The phone is performing worse than a $350 budget phone at this point, I want my money back...

Jigsz, 07 Nov 2021I like this phone, everything work perfectly except the WiFi.Can't connect to public wifi... moreIt's been like this for me as well and it's been well over a year that I'm using it this way. There is no prompt leading you to the login page of that public network.
I always have to ask my friends or family for the login IP address/URL for that specific network. I simply ask them to connect and log in to that network. Then I simply put in the same address in my browser when connecting to the same network.
I've made a folder on my home screen with links to all login pages named after the network.
I connect to the network, then I look for the shortcut I made and open it. It leads me to the login page.

If you cut off mobile data while connected to public wifi you will see the wifi icon appear. I am on an unlimited data plan so this functionality is great for me.

I like this phone, everything work perfectly except the WiFi.Can't connect to public wifi, just connected but no internet, I tried to forget the network but it still doesn't work. who are experiencing the same issue.

ae86, 12 Apr 2021Gaming phones are getting better and better but mobile games are still... Meh-There are so many good games coming to mobile showing that mobile gaming can become better than ever. Take games like Genshin Impact for example. Sure most devices can't handle the game but it shows that mobile gaming can become as good if not nearly there towards pc/console gaming.

Patrioness, 08 Jun 2021Does the fan still run while your gaming and in a phone call also? The fan will stop working and your game will be muted, putting the caller on loudspeaker unless you're using headphones

Hello can can any owner of the phone confirm if there is an option where you can screen record with internal sounds + mic? Wondering if this phone will be good for content creations. Xiaomi phones only have the option to screen record with internal audio or mic audio separately (I was planning to buy the black shark 4 but doubted if there was the option to screen record with both audio sources). I need a fast phone that can record internal + mic sounds at the same time. I know samsung, oppo and vivo can do this in their software, but the specs for the price are kinda pricey. To anyone that can confirm please do Thank youuu

Check their website. It's still only those two (according to the north American version of the website).
After seeing the Axon 30 Ultra do this, it seems ZTE doesn't do their network research...

I bet they used a 5A cable to charge red magic 6, that way it won't charge well, they need a 6A cable

Even when playing pubgM on extreme FPS settings on ultra with 120Hz turned on. The in-built turbofan truly works wonders.

How is 88 hours battery life dependable? It's pretty pathetic for a 5050mAh unit.
