Phone is still quite good to this day, still using it, but after latest update to Android 12 it feels it is not so refined as before (not slow but more "bugs") and it feels like camera is messed up even more. Autofocus has become bit more stupid, I would say. Phone did not had any mistreating from my side. Overall I am quite happy with the phone, especially price wise since I see nothing smart in paying big bucks for "stupid phone", but I did not expect it to be like all other Android devices, to become worse after upgrades (I repeat it is not slow, but more bugs)

by the way, the prices of this phone has gone down from $1000 to $600.
it's a great deal now, and get gcam with it, matches the current flagships (even oneplus 9 pro, since gcam just takes the hardware and make it the best.)

You should remove the specs for the fourth back camera (”Color Filter camera: 5MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture") as this camera has been disabled in July 2020 and OP has no plans to ever re-enable it nor offer any refund for this. I bought this phone instead of the "normal" OP 8 exactly for this infrared camera and the unique images produced by it. Now, after owning and using four OP models for the last six years (plus several accessories), I can say that I am extremely disappointed by OP and I have lost all my trust in the brand as there's no telling what else they can disable on my phone without my consent. After OP made me switch sides from apples to droids, the same OP made me consider going back. Prepare for unforeseen consequences.
