you can put a 6.9" screen in a 6.4" body. What they don't say is that .5" is useless anyway...and ruins the experience.

My OnePlus 7 Pro feels thinner than the previous phone I had which was thinner than the OnePlus by more than 1 mm. (iPhone SE).
why don't oems explain what the curves on the screens are for? when samsung intruduced it on the note edge, at least they had the edge apps and edge notifications. i am not sure with other people but personally i have never used those and turn those on altogether when i was still using samsung devices. it seems it really has never caught on anyways. i bought a galaxy note 10 plus last month but have sold it back only after a few weeks; i mean, the screen is great-looking and i would say can compete with my xperia 1, but the curved edges is really not helpful when using the s-pen to do my sketches, and the image distortion on the edges gets into my nerves. really, what's the use of the curved edges on screens?
Look like Huawei Mate 30 Pro
The curve is to extreme. No IP rating. Moving parts. No under screen camera. No 5G on base model. Outrageous $800 price tag for a phone with no support or US warranty.
Pass.
Curved edges are so stupid.
Pabliell, 16 Sep 2019The phone itself is just 5mm taller than Note 10+, while having almost 5% bigger screen. Nex ... more5% if you take into account the useless side screen.. look at mrwhoistheboss video and you would notice the Note 10 Plus has a wider display (taking into account only the useful display)

Vivo experiments with the NEX phones and then keeps that which is well received and drops what's not so much, that's why they kept the pop up camera and dropped the 2 screen setup. Depending on how this phone does we could or could not see the NEX 4 have waterfall edges. Given so much people seems to hate it chances are it will be dropped so you should feel more confident. the way its moving the next next NEX will be a foldable.
S7 Edge+ haha...
I can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed by this device.
Like everyone else said, usability is a question only a long-term review can answer.
But I'm more worried/disappointed for the legacy of NEX series. Granted it only has 2 phones under its name, but those 2 rocked the mobile word.
The X-factor of previous two NEX phones is somehow missing here, pardon the pun. Pressure sensitive edges already happened, by HTC and Google, as well as totally button less experience(by other brands). Curved screens are here since Note 4 edge.
Vivo pulled an apple here and I'm sad for it.
the price to stay different lol
at this rate they'll start selling emperor's new phone with screen only the smartest of man could see. get it today for the low low price of $999.98!

Thechillerdewd, 16 Sep 2019Waaay too big. Hence dare I, nice hardware, but no thx. Agreed. With the curvature as well, true seems usability is outta the window
What was wrong with physical buttons? We're at a stage where we throw away function just to try and better competitors, who then do the same. The user is the one who loses out. This is just like apple and the headphone jack.
