Bought this handset a week or so after it was launched and have been using it ever since. More than 4 years have passed bt the device gave me no trouble at all. One best handsets that Redmi has ever produced. Just to clarify, I am not a gamer, so i dont knw what would be the gaming performance or it's effects on the device.

PHN service is extradinory.. bought in 2020 but still PHN working is good ...camera is standard ...charging also good ...may be best model PHN in redmi company...I suggested only redmi....it's a good service

I've had many Xiaomi Redmi Notes and this one by far has been my favorite. Despite the glass backing the exterior has weathered A LOT of drops but had never cracked. The blue gradient is very pretty and it gets a lot of compliments.
I do agree the that Xiaomi pushes a lot of adds and it's probably not great for older people or technological sound people that don't know where to go to turn that off. I love tinkering around with my settings and seeing what new features they've added or what they've taken away... *BRING BACK THE DIFFERENT LED NOTIFICATION LIGHTS!!* So switching the notifications off for the useless apps was no biggie and definitely not a deal breaker.
I'm a person that likes using my phone in the shower and its held up well in there. However, from time to time it'll spaz out and open and close apps. It'll go back to normal after it's removed from the steam.
Just like cars sometimes you get a dud but this phone has been generally a pleasure to use.
