That battery life lol
just buy a mi8, cheaper and better...
Wish reviews covered more about reception and call quality. One thing nice about the 1+6 is new bands for T-Mobile 600MHz. It's one of only a few phones with it right now. But it doesn't support EVS just AMR-WB although I think it very well could have.
As for battery life, most reviews I've seen show the S9 being worse. Which makes sense considering the battery size, increased screen resolution, additional Samsung skinning, etc. So I find that to be a bit suspect if I'm honest.
AnonD-234961, 08 Jun 2018About the OP6 battery life: I have the OP6, and had the Samsung A3 2017 before it. And althoug... morewell, as I can see SOT of other people using OP6, their SOT is always between 6-7 hours a day - some people get to 8 or 9, but some people only get to 5. So there is nothing wrong with battery benchmark here, it is about how the phone is used by every individual.

Pity they had a scam trade-in program and many 6 buyers are now pretty pissed by the company.
About the OP6 battery life: I have the OP6, and had the Samsung A3 2017 before it. And although the A3 is rated at 93h, I can testify that the OP6 has much better battery life, lasting either 48 hours with 5h of SOT, or a day or so with up to 9-10 hours of SOT, which is incredible. I would very rarely get 48h with 3h of SOT with the A3 2017, while I can get 48 hours with 5h of SOT with no problems on the OP6 for the same usage (mainly wi-fi browsing and whatsapp, no games, no social media apps).
So I believe that there is something different/wrong with GSMArena's battery scores lately !
Awesome camera but it camera section was not as detailed as it usually is and whats with makers removing headphones
AnonD-161087, 08 Jun 2018Price is also less than competitorsWhat competitors? Are you generalizing? The Mi 8, Zenfone 5z, S8/8+, View 10, Mi Mix 2S are cheaper but with advantages above the OP 6 between other.
AnonD-245620, 08 Jun 2018bigger display , bigger size , more space for bigger battery Yeah but I really don't see any increase in battery capacity or longevity considering increase in size and availability of space inside.

I own and use both, so I know. Stop being a sheep
Chitti- The Robot, 08 Jun 2018I really don't understand manufacturers increasing display size, resolutions, SoC clocks but n... moreFor example a 3000mAh costs X.
3700mAh costs Y.
Y is more than X, costumers dont want to pay the difference.
Also the while inner design is made according to the " 3000" battery. Bigger battery will require a redesign of the device, more material is used on the device which makes it more expensive
It seems camera has been greatly improved. Now it is in the same ballpark as Iphone X or S9 or pixel 2.
It seems that the camera only works ok with the nearest objects, with the selfies or in the studio doing macros or short distance. The use in the street and oudoors produce rare effects in the objects when you zoom the image. With its actual prices the battery life, display and speaker should have been improved.
How much can they still incrase the price in their next phones and still attract sales? With its trend the OP 6T should reach the $595 in the cheaper variant and the OP 7 no less than $660... For me i can't watch them attractive anymore, this year i'm going to buy the phone of other brand that i feel give me more value for my money and more features plus better battery, sound, display... Or they add more things to the equation or increasing the price each year selling the same thing reworked, will not work anymore.
I really don't understand manufacturers increasing display size, resolutions, SoC clocks but not battery? Why? Can't compromise on one thing, that is battery life. I really don't understand why.!
oneplus are the most overrated phones ever (excluding iphones). And I wonder why they keep on leaving out a microsd slot
