Australian here so my spelling may not align with Americans.
Still using this device in 2025.
The Samsung S9+ is truly one of the last good phones they made.
3.5 mm headphone socket, SD card slot which is great if you damage your phone like I did with my S8.
I was able to simply pop out the card to get my photos and files back.
This is not always possible if the only memory is embedded (like all newer phones) and the screen and digitiser are damaged severely, as in my case.
Premium feel, & solid performance.
I am currently using this phone because my A34 rear cover fell off while on a call.

It’s a good phone for its age, the best phone for a second!!! But I will not use it for a main phone. It probably can’t handle games like Roblox. I read that android phones glitch so much. Well i think it is an excellent phone and good phone for its age.

After about 3 yrs service, the S9 just switches off after about 1 minute of use.
Then have to re start the whole process of switching it on.

Chisimdindu amalevi , 16 Jun 2024The samsung galaxy s9 is my future phone and iam going to buy it BTW, Airvoice is a service provider for the Lifeline mobile program (aka Obamaphomes) It’s just one provider of thousands I think. But instead of handing out horrible cheap garbage phones, they stock quite a robust catalog of slightly older phones, many of them flagships in their day. That’s why I just got a new (refurbished?) Galaxy s9 for free. Anyway, if you’re not broke then this doesn’t apply to you. But if you are, you should know about this because it’s night and day between this device and what you normally get from these companies. Cheers!

Since I changed the sim I have lost all my apps with Microsoft and unable to get my outlook nhs mail.
It worked ok before so I returned back to my olld sim but still have lost the app or to launch it

Until now my phone still snappy and working with no issues aside from the degradation of the battery. I recently replaced the battery and now back to normal.
