It's annoying me that reviews mention 18:9 or taller aspect ratios as somehow being a benefit.
It is simply a differently shaped screen, the utility of which will vary according to what people are doing with their phones.
For my taste, I like 5.5 inch or slightly larger 16:9 screens, partly because of their width in portrait mode (for typing). Yet, to maintain that width in an 18:9 aspect ratio requires a much taller device, which is annoying.

Multiple Xiaomi phones, even S... moreI am suspecting that there's an issue with GSMArena Team's audio quality analyzer machine. I mean, some small crazy waves is understandable, but the results recently are too much outlying. I suspect that the external amplifier they're using has a problem already, hence the extremely disappointing results.

I think this rumor of Redmi 5 plus being the substitute of Redmi note 5, gsm arena took it very serious.
This is the second or third review talking about it even tho there's an indication of Redmi Note 5 coming to light.

WTF is up with the wide-spread audio quality problems recently? Multiple Xiaomi phones, even Sony and the Honor V10 (Although it could have been an equalizer turned on by default there).
Total deal breaker.
