i couldnt make calls from my set. after giving for service they said sim tray is damaged.cant replace sim tray with a new one.only to creplace the mother board which is nearly costing a new one. I would like to get an answer from the service centre.

Motorola g5s plus good hand set I find two problems, few minutes in online heat in both side mobile handset and from my contact list call goes it self due to this i have to delete some numbers from contact list,
From time of purchase Motorola company say formate many time

Using it from 2017 still working good. Battery replaced just now. Camera and display is far better than the current same price range Moto sets.

Yes I'm using it still, 4.5 years. Love it, Phone works really good despite of battery capacity, signal problem.

It is the best phone ever of motorola. Its been 5 year i am using it battery is still good, even phone doesn't get hanged i had loads of stuff in it still working fast. I am commenting this from the same phone.

I am using this phone for more than 3.5 years without any problem.
As far as volte of jio issue is concerned, it may be due to locked sim, I have also used Jio sim two years ago without any problem.

Will install Lineage OS and GCam on it later as a backup device for him!

Solid device at this price range. I mean what can you accept at this price range, phone is solid, a great battery backup, using for 3 years now with heavy usage but never had any issues with this. Installed custom rom, pixel experience and that works wonderfully on this device. Solid phone!

the worst phone i have used till now. there is some signal issue in case of lte. big thread is going on in moto site but still no fix has been done.
if you use dual sim then phone continuously freezes and network also crashes continuously. to bring it to working condition i have to put on to flight mode and again to normal mode

This mobile has compatibility issues with many speakers e.g. if you connect the mobile with Sennheiser SP20 ML with 3.5 mm jack then you won't get audio on speaker. Reported this issue to Motorola but they are not interested to fix this issue.
