Horler, 02 Aug 2018I don't understand the screen of the phone, I found small ink at the edge of the screen withou... moreI'll assume that you noticed yellowish tint close to the top left edge of the screen (it should spread along left edge, around 7mm from edge). If that's the case than what you see is glue. Xiaomi is using low quality glue (adhesive) for their screens and sometimes if your phone gets warm (and it will in summer when playing games) heat will affect glue. I don't know if that permanently damages display but according to people from the Internet easiest solution is to replace display. Unfortunately I had that issue on my 2 Xiaomi phones: Redmi 2 Prime/Pro and Mi A1.

I have known that Mi A1 has the top high radiation of 1.75 w/kg and i have bought this phone upon your reviews specially Gsmarena team who supposed to address this problem in the review

After install Aug update it totally change.. Charging automatically decreases.when I put in charge that time also it's decreseing lot of bugs is there in August 5 update phone also hanging ...plz update soon never face this problem from last 1 year

My Xiaomi M1 arrived mid April and 2 days ago the phone shorted at the charging connection. Not happy to only get 3 and 1/2 months worth of use.

Don't laugh at me, but seriously, I like to buy used smartphone :)
Now, which one do you choose (both are used) between Mi A1 (Red edition) vs Redmi Note 3 Pro (Kate) ?
In my country the Redmi Note 3 Pro is about US$40 cheaper.

If the display is important to you I'd advise you to look elsewhere. It's passable but there's a distinct "washed out" feeling to it, almost like a filter put on it. Unfortunately as it is stock android you can't adjust color temperature either (like on MIUI, tho that has its limitations too in this regard) as it has no such option, maybe fixable by using a custom ROM, I'm not aware of it. Out of the box tho - NOPE! I liked the speakers it has though, compared to the OnePlus 5T it sounds clearer though it doesn't go as loud.

guys if you have problem with the proximity sensor try to change the main phone apps to another dialer, i use one apk dialer mod, thats is really good, try to find some telegram groups maybe you can find some one thats have this

The sound from the head... moreI am using Sony extra bass headphone and sound output is really great, clear, loud sound with good details.. may be you are using some 3$ cheap headphone and then blaming the phone for poor audio.. if you use poor quality headphone even a 1000$ smartphone wont give you a great sound quality... and for speaker output... it is ok.. loud enough and nothing is like so bad as you described in your comment..

The audio quality is poor. The speaker sound is cracked and distorted. The sound from the headphone jack is awful: bass and mids are distorted which makes it unusable for music. I have not tried bluetooth yet. Quite disappointing so far. Even my old Vernee Thor comes across like an audiophile's dream compared to this.
