Superb phone when using....no hang and no hard to use it....
Camera quality is amazing...Photo quality and resolutions are very good as compared to iPhone

When i install Open Camera, it gives me option to turn on 4k recording, maxed out at 4k ultra. Not sure if it's really doing that resolution. Also, in open camera, you can set video bitrate and frame rate.
Please let me know about this. I did a sample video on 4k ultra, but was a dark room. No lag issues though, chipset seemed to handle it.

I regret to have gotten this smartphone, poor battery life, poor camera resolution, not practical functions at all.

i am using 2 number of sim, one is vodafone and another one is jio.i am putting jio to 4g and vodafone to 3g. when i want to use vodafone's data at that time network autometically change vodafone preffered network to 4g. any solution guys...

At first I thought it was the rubber casing that I was using making contact with the phone's edges. Removed the casing and it was working fine again so I thought that was it but it only worked for a while then I experienced the sudden movement again. Is this a known issue for this unit and is there any way to fix it?

this phone was the best....... for around 1 month, after one month it started giving issues with the touch on the top right, it is like someone is touching randomly, it happens sometimes, Sony is selling garbage, I really loved all Sony/Sony Ericcson devices, I have had around 15 phones and everything was really nice, it all started one year ago, 3 Sony Z4+, Z5, 2 Xperia M4 and 1 M5 now this !@#$!@ XA1 Ultra, I got no other option than switching to Samsung :-/
SONY IS RIPPING OFF PEOPLE, THEY DON'T SELL GOOD PHONES!!!

i had this phone for about a week and the battery is good it will last for 2 days for minimal use at first i worried about the battery capacity but sony did a good job optimizing the battery the phone is great and very responsive also. Dont use facebook message if you want your battery to last more.

I just wanted to post thanking GSM for posting their color calibration values for the XA1 Ultra's display. I've had the XA1 U for a few months now but noticed that by default, the colors were very cold and unnatural looking compared to my midrange LG tablet. With these RGB values though the color accuracy is -significantly- improved and makes this LCD look beautiful!
I noticed that GSM doesn't post ideal RGB values for all their Sony phone reviews, so thanks again! I'm not comfortable with messing with those sliders myself, so this helped a lot.

6 inch screen but 2700 mah battery?? Who makes these absurd combinations at Sony. May be someone from HTC.

My first phone was sony 20years ago, so was 2,3,4, they all worked just fine, then i started to change brands, i had almost all of them. I alvays took the hi end of the brand, but i alvays had problems with them, now im back to sony, i had xperia m4 aqua that vas a litle cheaper, but still run fine, now i have xperia xa for a 1.5year and its working superb so i have no doubts about buying xperia xa1 ultra. Its cheaper than most flagship phones, but it will work better than most of them, like my xperia xa! That is my opinion
