My god that's an awesome 115 hours battery life score. Top 5 in GSMArena's battery life table. When my Galaxy S6 edge dies, I'm getting the Galaxy A7 (2017) for sure.

The battery endurance is greater on Samsung's midrange lineup because they all have FHD displays whereas their flagships all use QHD. There's just no chance for the battery to last as long when you're powering that many more pixels (which also taxes the CPU/GPU, too.)

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2017Seriously what's up with Samsung. Their low end or mid range phones are better than their flag... moreVery doubtful that 6GB gives better day to day performance, it's just Chinese spec wars like having 10 cores.
A lot of things are much better on S7 Edge compared to these phones like the screen, the camera, notification LED, CPU power, faster LTE supporting more bands etc. The phones you mention cost like 80% of the price of the S7 Edge now too.

This A7 2017 has bigger 3600mah battery same power efficiency proccesser but 600mah more battery i thought would be battery beast when it comes to video playback when I can see with battery life monster phones, IAM following gsmarena and phonearena from 2009 today is 2017 , i need battery life like example

Hope the Nougat update doesn't lower the Battery Endurance like what it did to the S7 edge where originally it was 98hrs on Marshmallow but after the update to Nougat the endurance dropped to 92hrs!

Yeah, S7 price is cut down RM500 (RM2199 flat version) in Malaysia,
So there is just a bit different with A7 17 (RM1899).
