Anonymous, 04 Jan 2017The only real "advantage" S7 have over A5 is the ability to use VR with a headset, and that is... mores7's high battery capacity, low light camera and its good ergonomics takes it to the peak compared to the A5 (2017)

I might be mistaken, but are you saying in page 2, that the A5 is using pwm to control its brightness while the S7 doesn't use pwm to control its brightness? That would be SO INCORRECT. To the best of my knowledge both phones use pwm to control brightness at least below 50% or so, with a frequency of 240hz approximately. Which makes them both equally possible to eye strain or fatigue sooner than a non pwm controlled brightness screen.

The only real "advantage" S7 have over A5 is the ability to use VR with a headset, and that is something almost nobody ever use! There is absolutely no point at all to waste too much money on an unnecessary to fast chipset...! A5 can play all the exactly same games... as S7, and the camera is more than good enough for everyone, while not even S7 is good enough for professionals! Waterproofing is pointless because every phone can handle a little rain, and almost nobody use a phone under water!
