Anonymous, 30 Jun 2016Sony, Take note. This is what you call battery life. (90+hours) Not that 40 hour crap.... Sony was the one hitting 100+ hours with batteries as small as 2600mAh.

Try selfie camera taking a picture using edge of the sensor. As in, position the camera so that your face is on the bottom or top of the image while holding the device vertically. On every S7 I've checked so far each time the face is on top or bottom, face gets distorted. My face looked longer than it is (significantly longer than in the middle), my wife's face became a round ball, which is, funnily, the opposite of our actual faces (my face was made thinner, her face was made wider).

Beauty settings that are supposed to "fix" the face don't really help in either "max" or "off" position (in fact, I couldn't tell the difference). I tried a number of parameters but differences were minor at best.

Its the carriers that are the culprit. Mainly Att and verizon with non unlockable bootladers.

The better gpu of the S820 and a couple under the hood things are what benefits it.
Im still waiting to see a stress test comparison between the two different SoC equiped S7s

If they ever launch an international version of this then they should use the exynos chipset.

If I remember correctly, GSMArena tested the Galaxy S6 Active with a different screen brightness calibration (1/2 max brightness). They switched to the 200nits standard for testing after that review. So in reality, the battery score for the S7 active is comparatively higher than the 96 hours endurance measured here.
