I wish you had asked about why the FM Radio has been omitted from these models. So many flagship phones now don't come with it and instead you have to burn data or hope for Wi-Fi in order to use TuneIn or YouTube or similar live streaming apps which aren't anywhere near as reliable as FM Radio for local broadcasts.

It is not just about the sensor size or harware in general, but the technology behind each pixels of sensor and more importantly SOFTWARE. Even if you use the same sensor on different cameras or phones and your code and logic is crap then it is useless. And yes I know that samsung, meizu and the lot use sony. Please understand all implications before commenting and do not assume that it is all about hardware when someone states "technology". I know how cmos works, like how big the A7S' sensor pitch is that is why it is very sensitive and capable of high ISO. But why is it at the top of its class among full frame sensors? Because of the overall technology that sony incorporated into the camera, focusing logic, processing and all that stuff. Same as with the rx100 and A6000. Its not just about sensor size and megapixels and pixel pitch if that is the only terms you know :)

AnonD-508646, 28 Feb 2016These guys (Sony) Are too arogant, like they dont care what the customers want and the opinion... morehahaha you really don't understand how cameras work do you? to answer your question well .. first because the sensor would take half the phone...just the sensor...then try to figure out a way to make a lense that would fit in 5mm and would provide light to the big af sensor behind it..simply stated it's impossible to have this technology in today's ever so slim units.
This is why you see the mobile camera developers focus on creating better sensors that mimic a normal DSLR but they are far from it...and did you know that Sony's sensors are used by the best phones out there?

sasmsung make a laggy lagwiz devices, but with better after sales services. so most people in there prefer to buy samsung devices.

These guys (Sony) Are too arogant, like they dont care what the customers want and the opinion of others this is why their phones are all half-assed flagsips. What I do not comprehend is why don't they integrate their camera (talkin about A7 series) and audio technology into their phones - they will definitely get a fair share of the market and better reviews.
