I find the screen to front ratio stated to be off slightly as i made my own analysis using CAD for accuracy. It is most probable that the screen ratio calculation was made with the actual screen dimension with general dimension of the smartphones. I investigated that angle and it came close to the stated percentages in this article.
I made CAD drawings tracing the scaled edge outlines of each device to the exact decimal dimensions. I then inquired the area results of phone front side outline and the screen for the ratio calculations.

LG G Pro2 has a 78.99% screen to chassis edge ratio (instead of 77.2%)
SG Note 3 has a 75.41% screen to chassis edge ratio (instead of 74.8%)
I know their slight, but I was aiming for more accuracy.
mreveryphone, 20 Mar 2014Does the G pro 2 have the flex theme like the g flex?no, it only comes the normal LG theme and the new cartoonish Bunnyfairy theme.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2014The LG Pro 2 is better. The spen is just marketing garbage and utterly useless! How is the spen a marketing gimmick? I swear by it daily and it's made my work life so much better not having to carry a note pad and pen all the time. Troll harder :)
Between the two, I'll pick Note 3 because of stylus. But that doesn't mean G Pro 2 is bad. LG GP2 is still awesome though, especially those thin bezel.
But recently I prefer to just-released Asus tablet with Wacom digitizer.

Because with full Windows + digitizer, I can get more productivity.
I love how LG G2 bezel is so thin. An example of perfect engineering.
HTC should learn from LG how to make thin bezel.
"less than stellar marketing", reason for G2's failure? No way, in SE Asia it was marketed much heavier than any other phone, you even see it in LG's official financial reports, how the insanely high marketing budget of G2 generated a net loss for their handset division. The strong marketing is still going on in Asia, though the price for all the LG stands and demo units are already included in last quarters losses, so it should be less next quarter.
Anyway, one of historys strongest marketed phones in Asia, thats for sure. Still failed.
I agree, I have the note 3 but the small screen difference does not justify the price difference with or without the spen, the first g pro and g2 are the best deals lg can offer right now
7, 20 Mar 2014Where can you get the Note 3 cheaper than a 5c?I'd love to know, it's about U$S100 more expensive than a full iPhone5s 32gb over here...
AnonD-41413, 20 Mar 2014Not impressed by LG considering the point that G Pro 2 was launched almost half a year later t... moreBlaming LG for their stupid thing (making G Pro 2 more pro) is first and blame Samsung for their stupid S5 is second thing :D S5 come over a half year over note 3 and it still has 2 gb ram and lower battery :D and the heart rate sensor is just a market garbage to make ppl love a phone which should be a tipical 2013 q2 phone :D not the 2014q1 :D

Does the G pro 2 have the flex theme like the g flex?
lg is the best waitng for G3
i have the original Note and the Note II.
i love the S-pen stylus and all its features.
now i can't imagine using a touchscreen phone without stylus.
so yes, my vote goes to Note 3.
It would be nice having both phones in your progession.
as I always says....LG always comes late to the party..............When food finishes
Can we just respect every company's products?
Is it worthwhile to argue with others just for the a different taste? No one can judge anyone by the phones he has, but people will be judged by the way he treated others.
MY Note 3 is still the Champ.....
Both are awesome phones. But if you need the spen like me, you only have one, the best, the Note. Here i come for you Note 4.. sent from my Note 2.
AnonD-219781, 20 Mar 2014That was done 2 years ago. Screen technology has changed big time since then. Amoled screens u... moreExactly right. You can see from the test below that the Note 3 made major improvements in all areas of screen performance... and the Note 2 screen was pretty good.
Personally the biggest improvements of the Note 3 are in sunlight and the whiter whites.
