Last week Redmi India started teasing the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ in the country on January 5. At the time it was unclear whether it would be all alone on the stage or joined by other members of the Redmi Note 12 family.

Now, it's clear that the Redmi Note 12 Pro will also be launching in India at the same event, as a teaser campaign for it is now in full force over on Redmi India's Twitter account.

Both of these models were initially unveiled for the Chinese market in late October. Over there a vanilla Redmi Note 12 also got launched, as well as the Redmi Note 12 Discovery edition, which features 210W wired charging. It's as of yet unclear if either of these will make the trip to India or not.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro teasers focus on it having OIS for the main camera. The Pro is basically the same phone as the Pro+, only the latter's main camera is a 200 MP one instead of 50 MP and the Pro has 67W charging vs. 120W on the Pro+. The Discovery edition is a Pro+ with a 4,300 mAh battery (down from 5,000) and 210W charging.
