Xiaomi and its sub-brand Redmi are going to unveil a new gaming phone, part of the flagship K40 series, and so far we’ve only heard rumors about the chipset. Today the brand took it to Weibo and revealed the Redmi K40 Gaming will be powered by a Dimensity 1200 chipset.

The Mediatek chipset is built on the 6nm technology and brings one Cortex A78 core running at 3GHz, three more at 2.6GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz.

Please know how Mali changes... Maybe G77mp9 is not as powerfull as some other flagship's GPU. But it's 2.5x better than GPU you can find on mid-range like SD765G.
