Xiaomi Redmi Android Announcement

The latest member of the Redmi K30 series is here with the new K30 5G Racing Edition. It’s the first phone to feature the just announced Snapdragon 768G chipset. The new SoC is an overclocked Snapdragon 765G version with speedier CPU and GPU. Other than that and the new mint green colorway, the device is identical to the Redmi K30 5G.

We have a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS display with an oval punch-hole cutout for the 20MP selfie shooter and 2MP depth sensor. The back features a circular camera cutout housing the 64MP main shooter alongside the 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro snappers. The battery comes in at 4,500mAh and supports 30W fast wired charging.

The Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition is already up for reservation in China for CNY 2,000 ($282) in a single 6 GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. Official sales are scheduled to begin on May 14.
