RedMagic Android

RedMagic OS 12 is based on Android 17, and it debuted on the RedMagic 12 Pro+ last week. Today, RedMagic has announced which of its existing phones and tablets will get the update, and when.

The RedMagic 11 Pro and 11S Pro series go first, in December. The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro follows in January. March is when the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10S Pro series, the RedMagic 11 Air, and the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro get it, while the RedMagic 10 Air brings up the rear in April.

RedMagic OS 12 brings a redesigned interface with a giant clock, plus several AI features, including an AI Magic Island and a new assistant with a memory function. It also adds one-tap file transfers that work with Apple devices, a redesigned game space that adapts to each game's theme, an esports training area with built-in shooting and reaction mini-games, and version 3.0 of the X-Gravity platform for cloud gaming, console streaming, and playing mobile games on a bigger screen.

The important note here is that this schedule is for China, and RedMagic hasn't yet revealed when the global versions of these devices will get the update.
