Red Oppo R9s is now official, goes on sale on Christmas eve

As expected, Oppo announced a new red color variant of the R9s smartphone. The phone, as you can see below, comes with a red back shell that has the "I am your little power Phone' logo along with the signature of a popular Chinese actress/singer.

Specs-wise, the new variant doesn't bring any changes, meaning it's also powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset, sports 5.5-inch display, has 4GB/64GB memory configuration, and features 16MP/16MP camera combo. Price is also same: CNY 2,799 (around $400).

The device is currently available to pre-order in China, with shipments beginning December 24.
