Right on schedule, the Realme X50 5G is official and despite the legion of leaks and teasers it managed to bring few surprises.
Up front the X50 5G has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate and a dual punch hole selfie camera - a regular 16MP unit and an ultrawide 8MP snapper.
Inside is the new Snapdragon 765G chipset with an integrated 5G modem. You'll have a choice of 6GB, 8GB and 12GB of RAM, which come with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
On the rear the Realme X50 5G brings the popular 64MP f/1.8 snapper, which delivers 4-in-1 binned 16MP snapshots, along with a 12MP tele + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro setup.
The built-in 4,200mAh battery is capable of 30W VOOC 4.0 wired charging.
The Realme X50 5G launches with Color OS 7.0 over Android 10. This is the first phone to pack the company's custom Realme UI on top instead of using what Oppo provides with Color OS.
The Realme X50 5G goes on sale in China today. It starts at CNY 2,499 (INR25,800/€320) for the 8GB+128GB model, CNY 2,699 (INR28,000/€350) for the 6GB+256GB and CNY 2,999 (INR31,000/€390) for the top of the line 12GB+256GB.
It's up to you then. Do your research before you comment. 4G coverage isn't 100% in my country, network is still stuck in 2G/3G (then even 2G/EDGE network dominates). It's a step by step basis. China is fine with 5G because they have the resources to...

I hope you had a 4G phone, and were using Reliance Jio's 4G network. Their coverage is unmatched throughout India. Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and BSNL have really bad coverage of 4G but Airtel is improving a lot and trying to catch up with Relliance Jio.
