The Realme GT5 Pro is yet to get its announcement date, but its Chief Marketing Officer revealed more details about the phone. Two weeks after he confirmed the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, he revealed the screen of the new flagship will reach 3,000 nits of brightness.
The executive said this will be the industry's brightest display, and the GT5 Pro will achieve it, because it will be an “all-around epic” upgrade, and the screen experience will be the best on the market.
The panel is likely to be built by BOE, as the display company recently announced a new 3,000-nit panel, developed in collaboration with Oppo and OnePlus for their upcoming flagships. Realme as part of the same group will probably have the same display.
The screen will have 1220p resolution and should have extremely thin bezels and slightly curved sides.
Realme GT5We are still waiting for Realme to schedule a launch event. It should be soon, given the phone was already certified by TENAA and ready to go on sale.

Most if not all advertised peak brightness is not activated under such scenario... Under sun brightness barely go up to 1200nits for most phones.
Companies should really look into making the screens as DIM as possible. Surely I am not the only one in the world who uses a smartphone around the time when going to sleep and waking up. Even at lowest brightness, it's like staring at the sun. ...
