The global folding phone market is really heating up this year and it seems Realme is finally ready to join in with its own offerings. Madhav Sheth, Realme VP and President of Realme International took to Twitter to ask his followers if they would prefer a flip-style clamshell foldable (Realme Flip) or a larger book-style folding phone (Realme Fold) from the brand.

What do you want next… #realmeFlip or #realmeFold?

— Madhav Sheth (@MadhavSheth1) March 9, 2023

Rumors about Realme’s folding phone ambitions have been going on for years but the brand has stayed clear of the market and instead focused on developing regular slab phones to reach a larger group of users.

It remains to be seen what Realme has planned for its first foldable release but we should be getting more information soon enough.

Used quite a few of them. Honestly, great devices! One can easily ADB the bloatware out of it. The only main gripes would be those shitty 2Mpx cameras and a really lethargic update cycle (although they do come out). Everything else is quite good...

I was thinking about to buy new one, actually. Any experience using Realme devices? Might want to share it, so I can understand product I want to buy?

Big foldable for under 1000 euros please. Now you have to buy older Samsung Galaxy fold models if you want cheaper price.
