Realme is all set to launch the X2 Pro and 5s in India on next Wednesday, but that's not stopping the Chinese phone maker from rolling out software updates for its older models. The company has released a new firmware for the Realme 5 which brings in the October 2019 security patch to the smartphone.
Additionally, this new build sporting version number RMX1911EX_11_A.18 comes with a system-wide dark mode that's already available on six Realme smartphones, which include the Realme 1, U1, 5 Pro, X, XT, and the 3 Pro.
The update also brings the ability to record videos using the phone's 8MP ultrawide angle camera and lets you expand the notification bar with a swipe down gesture on the home screen. You can check out the complete changelog below for more details.
Realme is rolling out this update in a staged manner, meaning only a limited number of users will receive it initially, and a broader rollout will commence in a few days if no bugs are found.
